Origin
The Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky family is one of the oldest and most respected in Russia. Starting its history from the 15th century, it includes the coats of arms of the Romanovs, Tolstoys, Pushkins and Odoevskys. The Mikhalkovs belonged to aristocratic circles close to the tsar. Being a liberal maximalist, Andron considered his parent a functionary and a politician from the pen, exchanging his poetic gift. Out of a sense of protest, he changed his name. His real name is Andrey Sergeyevich Konchalovsky. Friends often called him Andron, and this name was fixed to him for life.
Over the years, as the worldview began to develop, attitudes toward the father began to change. Andrei Sergeevich no longer ranks him among the functionaries, realizing that he never held any special position, and he joined the party already in the 60s. Having become the author of the country's anthem, Sergey Vladimirovich was in honor with all the rulers, not doing anything specifically for this. After the mother passed away, a filial feeling for his father prevailed over Konchalovsky, so he often began to use a double surname, remaining Mikhalkov on the passport.
Biography of Andrei (Andron) Konchalovsky: on the way to the profession
From childhood, the young man was fond of music. He graduated from school, and then the music school. The famous Lev Oborin recommended entering the Moscow Conservatory, whose advice the young man took in 1957, after studying for two years in piano. Then he ventured to try himself in the profession, which carried him headlong. He went to VGIK to the directing department, where he recruited Mikhail Romm into his studio. Already in 1962, he took off his thesis “The Boy and the Dove,” awarded the prize of the Venice Festival for his film debut.
Over the years of his studies, Andrei starred in three films, co-authored the script for the film “Ivan Childhood” by A. Tarkovsky, choosing the work of Ch. Aitmatov “The First Teacher” as a thesis. Fascinated by the work of Kurosawa, the director created a film in his style, awarded several international awards. This testified to the emergence in domestic cinema of a new phenomenon named Andron Konchalovsky. The biography of the director, meanwhile, was not one of victories.
Hollywood
Filmed in 1966, the painting "The History of Asya Klyachina" fell on the shelf. Film lovers will see her only in 1988. Having made several films on the classic plot, the director in 1974 brings to the audience the musical “Romance of Lovers” to the music of A. Gradsky. It was a resounding success. 40 million people rushed to the cinema, and at the Karlovy Vary festival the film was awarded the Crystal Globe.

The girl was taken by helicopter to the Marseille hospital, where she was brought into a coma. In 2015, there has been progress in her treatment, but so far she is unconscious.
