Plot
Four generations of women living in the center of Moscow, in a large apartment furnished with antique furniture, have the same rare middle name - “Ignatievna”. The fate of three of these “iron ladies” was broken by scoundrels and deceivers in the person of unfaithful men. It was the turn of the youngest of the "empire" of singles - the beautiful Marina (Marina Vorozhishcheva). This gentle, feminine and modest 23-year-old girl was somewhat reminiscent of the heroines of the last century. She is smart and educated, works as an art critic.
Ignat - that was the name of the great-great-grandfather of Marina, who was the last head of the family, and the only worthy husband in their family. All the girls born in the "clan" have so far been given the patronymic of this authoritative person. It is as if a generic curse looms over these ladies - initially, marriage is doomed to failure. Women do not live with their chosen ones for a long time (husbands either die, or simply abandon them).
