Shawarma recipe: the food is simple but amazingly tasty

Shawarma (in other words - shawarma) is an original oriental dish - a tortilla in which a delicious filling is wrapped. Sometimes it is created from meat of different varieties, finely chopped, mixed with a small amount of spices and sauces, and sometimes a salad of fresh vegetables is allowed as a filling. If in order to make a shawarma recipe, beef is selected, then the best marinade for it will be red wine and lemon juice with onions, for chicken it is worth taking mayonnaise with spices, and pork should be marinated in white wine or vinegar (apple or wine) with onions and seasonings. When the meat is held in the marinating mixture for at least 12 hours, it can be fried: ideally - on an open fire, in other cases - in a pan with a thick bottom.

You can choose any shawarma recipe that will allow you to cook this dish as tasty as possible, especially if you apply one secret - pour the meat while it is frying with orange juice so that the fillet is saturated and the treat becomes juicy and fragrant. Grilled meat should be chopped and proceed to the main cooking process. To do this, you need to take ready chopped fillet (700 gr.), Onions (1 goal.), Cucumber and tomato (1 pc.), Garlic (2-3 teeth.), Pita bread and all kinds of spices. In addition, mayonnaise or sour cream (50 ml.). Vegetables should be cut into “strips”, combined with meat, put on a pita bread, pour sauce, then roll the cake “envelope” and slightly fry on both sides. Ready shawarma can be baked for several minutes in the oven, “minced” in the microwave for a minute or fried in a pan with thick walls and the bottom. Hot food should be slightly sprinkled with mayonnaise to make it even more fragrant and juicy.

Like many other recipes from chicken breast, a shawarma recipe with chicken meat can be one of the recognized culinary masterpieces prepared at home. For this you need to take a couple of sheets of pita bread (thin), chicken (350 gr.), Cucumbers and tomatoes (2 pcs each), cabbage (100 gr.) And Korean carrots (200 gr.). For succulent sauce, ketchup and mayonnaise (45 ml each) are suitable, and for addition - greens, spices and green onion arrows. First of all, you should cook the meat as described above - cut into slices, marinate for 12 hours, fry and grind. Next, chop the greens, combine in a bowl with chopped cubes of vegetables and green onions. After this shawarma, the recipe is proposed to be engaged in the assembly of dishes - on the table you need to lay pita bread, grease it with mayonnaise, put vegetables, meat, Korean carrots and cabbage, and greens in turn. Shawarma is poured on top with sauce - a mixture of ketchup with mayonnaise, after which it will be possible to mix the filling, and roll the pita bread with a roll, carefully so that the filling does not fall out, and fry.

In principle, there are no strict rules for preparing this magnificent oriental dish - you can cook shawarma according to the above recipes, or you can add your own ingredients.
