You often come home from work and don’t know what to cook for dinner: soups are already fed up, pasta is fed up, and you can’t feed your husband and children with one salad. This is where pork roast comes to the rescue. Once I thought about why it is called “roast,” then I realized that the dish must be served hot or “roast,” since the cooled roast does not seem so delicious anymore. When it is hot, the whole aromatic bouquet of taste is revealed. Each family cooks this dish in its own way, each housewife tries to add its own flavor to the fries, but I cook according to the following recipe.

So, in order to cook pork roast, we need the following products:

- 500 grams of lean pork;

- 600 grams of potatoes;

- three large onions;

- two bell peppers;

- 50 ml of sour cream;

- 50 ml of mayonnaise;

- bay leaf, spices to taste;

- greens;

- salt.

First you need to chop onions and bell peppers, fry in olive oil until half ready. Then cut the pork into a small cube and combine with the onion, add bay leaf and spices, salt, fry a little so that the pork turns white. While the meat is stewed, rinse the potatoes, peel and cut into small cubes too. Roast pork in the oven can be cooked in one large container or use pots. I prefer the second option, so we will put the products in pots. First we put the meat, then the potatoes (do not forget to salt it a little). Pour these ingredients with a small amount of water so that the roast is completely submerged, and lay the mayonnaise and sour cream on top. Close the pots with lids and send to the oven for 1.5 hours. Before cooking roast pork, soak the pots in cold water an hour before filling with food. When the roast ripen, decorate with fresh herbs on top. That's all, the incomparable dinner is ready.

Instead of pork, you can use any meat; chicken and potatoes go well with beef (it will have to be fried before it is cooked, since beef is quite tough meat). During fasting, meat can be replaced with mushrooms, and sour cream with lean mayonnaise. In general, there are many options, you can fantasize.

I want to reveal another roast pork recipe for you, it is often served at oriental resorts. He has a rather unusual taste, so this recipe is for everybody.

For roast we need:

- 400 grams of lean pork;

- 300 grams of any beans;

- 100 grams of shrimp;

- 3-4 cloves of garlic;

- soy sauce for meat;

- vegetable or olive oil;

- salt and pepper.

For this roast, you should pre-boil the shrimp and soak the beans. Shrimps need to be boiled in salted water, 10-15 minutes. Beans can not be salted during cooking, as it perfectly absorbs all juices from meat. Pork cut into small cubes or cubes, put in a pan, pour oil and fry a little. Then add chopped garlic, pour over soy sauce and fry again a little. After 5 minutes add some water, salt and simmer until half cooked. Then combine the shrimp, beans and meat side dish, pepper (but not very much, since garlic is already spicy to this dish), arrange in pots, close with lids and send to the oven to bake for an hour. My friend has pots without lids, she replaces them with a regular dough cake. To do this, he takes one egg, butter, a little milk, salt, sugar, flour and kneads a cool dough, then rolls the cakes and covers them with pots. It turns out very interesting, and besides, cakes can replace a piece of bread. Such pork roast is very satisfying. Shrimp and beans add an unusual flavor.
