Alsu Abulkhanova
Today, many Tatar singers work in the genre of pop music. A bright representative of this trend is Alsu Abulkhanova. An artist was born in Vorkuta. Then her family moved to Ulyanovsk. In this city, Alsou graduated from a music school. All her childhood, she often visited Kazan - went to visit her grandmother. And after graduation, she moved to the capital of Tatarstan, where she graduated from the conservatory in vocal class. Abulkhanova performs songs in Russian, Tatar, French and English.
Guzel Akhmetova
Not all Tatar singers choose one genre for themselves. There are artists who work in several directions at once. Among them are Guzel Akhmetova. This vocalist is quite popular in Tatarstan. She was born in 1982 in the Perm region. Guzel began to study music from early childhood. She graduated from music school in piano and vocals. From childhood, G. Akhmetova took part in various competitions, where she won prizes.
In addition to music, the girl was fond of tennis, she studied very well at school and wrote articles about how she took part in competitions. Guzel graduated from the vocal department of the Kazan Academy of Culture and Arts. At the age of 29, she was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan".
Today, Guzel performs pop and folk songs, as well as classical works. She has many fans, she often gives concerts and tours not only in Russian cities, but also in other countries.
Asylar
Some Tatar singers sing songs exclusively in their native language. For example, Alsou Zainutdinova, who performs on stage under the pseudonym Asyljar. The girl was born in Tatarstan in 1986. From childhood she sang. First she performed on the club stage in the native village of Imenkovo, and then she began to take part and take prizes in contests of the republican level.
In 2008, Alsu graduated from the Kazan University of Culture and the Arts - vocal department. In 2005, when Asylar was still a student, her first solo concert was held. Today she writes new songs, tours extensively, performs with the stars of the Tatar pop and starred in TV shows. In 2008, Alsou made an attempt to become a member of Eurovision. But the artist failed to reach the final.
Dina Garipova
Tatar singers often become popular with the Russian public. Dina Garipova, Honored Artist of Tatarstan, became famous thanks to her victory in the TV show "Voice" in 2012. The singer was born in the small town of Zelenodolsk. Parents of the girl are candidates of medical sciences. But her father sang and wrote romances in his youth. Dean began to engage in vocals at 6 years old. Since childhood, the artist took part in competitions and almost always won prizes.
The show "Voice" became fateful for Dina. The girl’s mentor was Alexander Gradsky himself . Thanks to her participation in the Voice project, Dean was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Tatarstan and signed a contract with Universal Studios. And she also became the representative of Russia at the Eurovision song contest in 2013.
D. Garipova has a strong voice with a range of two and a half octaves and an excellent ear for music. In 2013, the artist voiced the cartoon "Reef" and was a performer of songs in the ice show "The Wizard of Oz." In 2014, Dina recorded her first solo album. Its name is "Two Steps to Love." In the same year, D. Garipova made her debut as a film actress, she played the role of secretary, and also performed all the songs in the film "Courage". In 2016, the girl recorded a new song, and also voiced the princess in the new cartoon "Bremen robbers."
