To do this, mustard is mixed with a small amount of soy sauce and herbs. Onions and potatoes are peeled. Onions are cut into rings, and potatoes are sliced. The cheese is rubbed on a fine grater (you can grind it in a blender).

It is worth noting that the more sauce is added to the meat in French with potatoes, the fatter the dish can turn out. If mushrooms are present in the recipe, then their layer will be the top, directly under the cheese crust. In the case when it is necessary to make a milder taste, cheese should not be added immediately, but 15-20 minutes before the end of frying.

Serving meat in French with potatoes is recommended immediately or warmed up. Any fresh or pickled vegetables are perfect for him. This dish can be the main one on the festive table or a full lunch or dinner. It is quite satisfying, and properly cooked has a pleasant delicate taste.
