In order to make tartlets, it is necessary to cut pita bread into small squares. The optimal size would be squares with a side length of 10 cm, if you use standard molds for baking muffins. An important clarification: the edges of the resulting square after it was placed in a baking dish should not stick out much. The middle of the side of the square should be the same height as the baking dish, and the corners should look up. Such a square is placed in a baking dish. Then you need to grease it with an egg a little, sprinkle with cheese, cover with a second same square and gently and firmly press it with your hands.
