"Nize Gel" - instructions, composition, method of application

Nise Gel contains Nimesulide. Preparations based on it (Nimesulide, Nise, Nimegesic, Actasulid, Sulaydin, Prolid and others) are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that effectively fight fever and inflammatory phenomena, as well as have strong painkillers action.

Medicines, which include nimesulide, have extensive indications for use. Nise, Nimesil, Novolid and other drugs are indicated for osteoarthritis and osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, postoperative and post-traumatic pain, as well as for various inflammatory processes and gynecological diseases. The maximum effect after ingestion is achieved after one and a half to two hours. External products based on nimesulide, in particular, Nise gel, the use of which in parallel with the ingestion of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs enhances their effect, in addition, they have a distracting and locally irritating effect. Thus, the composition of the Nise Gel preparation, in addition to its active component, includes menthol, methyl salicylate and capsaicin. The last of them, the alkaloid, contained in abundance in red hot pepper, contributes to a rush of blood to a painful place and its heating. The menthol contained in the Nise Gel tool (the instruction says this) has an additional external analgesic effect, stimulating the cold receptors. Finally, methyl salicylate, a derivative of salicylic acid, a volatile substance with a characteristic strong odor, reduces inflammation and infiltration in tissues, improves microcirculation in them.

The instructions included with the Nise Gel drug describe the indications for its use. These are various diseases of the musculoskeletal system, accompanied by inflammation or degenerative changes: arthritis, rheumatic and gouty joint pain, radiculitis, osteoarthritis, bursitis, sciatica, lumbago, as well as osteochondrosis with radicular syndrome. It should be applied to clean and dry, intact skin with an even, thin layer. To do this, squeeze a gel column of a length of about three centimeters from the tube, apply it to the skin in the most painful place and gently, without pressing, rub it into it. To use "Nize Gel" the instruction recommends 3-4 times a day. It should be understood: since the absorption of nimesulide through the skin is insignificant, a serious effect can be obtained only with the combination of this drug with other drugs.

Like most medicines, Nise Gel has contraindications for use - this is, first of all, individual intolerance to nimesulide or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, for example, acetylsalicylic acid. "Nise Gel" (the instruction says this) can not be used for severe violations of the liver and kidneys, for peptic ulcer disease in the acute stage, pregnancy. If this drug must be used by a nursing mother, the child must be weaned for the duration of treatment. In addition, Nise Gel is contraindicated in skin diseases - both infectious and dermatitis of various nature. It is not recommended for use in treating children under 12 years old.

Side effects from the use of this drug include a variety of external allergic manifestations: itching and peeling, rash and redness of the skin, and in some cases even its burn. When using it, care should be taken to prevent the product from reaching the mucous membranes, open wounds or damaged skin. Hands should be washed thoroughly after applying Nise Gel.
