Drunk Chicken: Recipe on a Bottle
The following set of ingredients is available for this cooking method:
- broiler chicken - 1.5 kg;
- dark beer (preferably unfiltered, draft) - half a liter;
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of honey, mustard and vegetable oil;
- several cloves of peeled garlic;
- a mixture of herbs (such as Provence), salt, zira, coriander, paprika.
The technology of preparation of the “Drunken Chicken” dish
The recipe is performed step by step.
1st step
Rinse the carcass. Dilute three tablespoons of salt in a couple of liters of water. Place the meat in the resulting solution for several minutes.
2nd step
Remove the carcass, dry it. Pour dry spices, mustard, chopped garlic, honey into a bowl. Knead and grate the chicken thoroughly inside and out.
3rd step
If you have beer in a glass bottle, pour a quarter out of it. If draft, pour ¾ into the bottle. Clean the paper label container.
4th step
Pour a spoonful of dried herbs into the beer (act carefully so that the foam does not leak). Put the chicken on the prepared bottle. Place in the lowest compartment of the preheated oven in a pan with water and leftover beer. The fluid should cover the entire surface.
5th step
The recipe for “Drunken Chicken” involves baking meat at a temperature of 200 degrees for an hour. If you suddenly noticed that the top of the carcass began to brown quickly, then cover the chicken with foil so that it does not burn.
6th step
In the finished chicken, cut the abdomen. So it will be more convenient to remove it from the bottle. Cut the meat into portions and serve with any side dish. “Drunken Chicken” is a quick and easy recipe. You can put the whole dish on a plate and decorate to your liking.
Drunken Chicken Recipe Two
Prepare a dish of the same name using a different technology. Ingredients:
- broiler chicken (chicken) weighing 1.5 kg;
- peeled and chopped ginger root;
- a pair of onions;
- sherry - 300 ml;
- salt, water (1.75 liters), herbs;
- brandy - to taste and desire (a couple of tablespoons).
Cooking technology
Rinse the carcass, dry. Insert ginger and chopped onion inside. Fill the chicken with water. She should slightly cover the carcass. Bring to a boil, remove the froth and cook for 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and keep the chicken under a closed lid for 4 hours. After removing the carcass from the broth, let it dry a little. Pour 300 ml of liquid into a container or jar. Remove the skin from the bird. Cut into portions. Rub them with salt, put in a shallow dish. Put the meat for a couple of hours in the cold. Add brandy and sherry to 300 ml of broth, add chicken to the mixture, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 days. Turn the pieces occasionally. After the specified time has passed, put the chicken on a tray and decorate with greens.
Drunk Chicken Salad
Products:
- boiled chicken fillet - 200 grams;
- a pair of pickled cucumbers (medium size);
- fresh mushrooms (champignons) - 100 grams;
- a couple of tablespoons of oil for refueling;
- dry wine (white) - 100 ml.
Cooking technology
Peel the mushrooms, boil. Cut fillets, mushrooms, cucumbers into cubes, mix. Season with salt and pepper. Pour wine and oil. Enjoy your meal!
