Cartoon plot
In the center of the cartoon "Despicable Me 2" is the former villain Gru. Previously, the guy’s life goal was crime. He tried to reach the pinnacle of popularity as a gangster, but then he rethought all his life values.
Now he takes care of his three adoptive daughters. The girls are madly in love with Gru and hope that he will always be happy. In addition, Margot, Eddie and Agnes want to find love for the main character. Of course, Grue does not even believe that one day he will meet his soul mate, but all of a sudden Lucy appears in his life.
The girl works for a secret public service, which is engaged in the search for criminals such as Grew in the past. According to Lucy, she watched the hero for a long time and was about to detain him, but the guy himself turned on the right path.
Now the secret agency wants to check if Gru has really changed that way. He is offered cooperation in one business. At first, the guy was not happy that he needed to work in tandem with Lucy, but later they find a common language.
Meanwhile, Grew is arguing with Dr. Nefario, who in the past has been developing weapons for the main character's atrocities. Now the genius is sitting idle and trying to persuade his boss to return to a past life.
After another refusal, Nefario collects his things and leaves. Soon, Grew added to the difficulties that someone was stealing his minions. Since there are a lot of these creatures in the protagonist’s house, the guy does not immediately find out about the problem. Grew is faced with the question: "For what purpose does someone abduct his assistants?"
Meanwhile, Grue and Lucy are looking for a villain who has stolen a secret laboratory. Soon the partners solve the case, and the girl returns to Australia. However, later it turns out that the villain is still at large. Lucy realizes that she can no longer live without Grew, so she comes back. Then the villain kidnaps her.
Soon, Dr. Nefario gets in touch with the main characters. It turns out that now he works for the criminal whom Grew is looking for. An evil genius tells the guy about Lucy, and he immediately goes to her aid. Here it turns out that the same bandit abducted his minions, and with the help of the new invention of the Doctor, he turned them into cruel creatures.

As previously written, Gru now leads a peaceful lifestyle. He opens his business, but fails. Meanwhile, he is contacted by the very agency where Lucy works. They also go through a series of investigative failures and therefore ask the guy for help. When, after some time, he agrees, then no one wants to cooperate with him, except for Lucy herself.
The actors of the cartoon "Despicable Me" in 2013 created incredible characters that were so loved by the audience. Lucy was no exception. The girl laughs and jokes a lot, which makes her the soul of the company and the exact opposite of Grew. At the same time, she is a true professional in the capture of criminals.
Of course, the girl has her own oddities, for example, she simply admires Gru's atrocities. According to her, things like kidnapping the moon cannot but inspire or cause excitement.
The actors of the cartoon "Despicable Me" (2013) also tried to make the audience fall in love with the three young girls, the adopted daughters of Grew. This time, the oldest of them, Margot, is experiencing her first true love. To the great happiness of the girl, the guy responds to her feelings. Grue and Lucy were introduced to the audience by Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig. Eduardo Pepper, aka El Macho, played Benjamin Bratt. The voice of his son, Antonio Pepper, was given by Moises Arias.
In a Russian translation, Gru was voiced by Sergey Burunov. Dubbing Lucy engaged Irina Kireeva. The role of the villain went to Vladimir Eremin. Lisa Martirosova, Maria Emelyanova and Anna Shtukaturova were engaged in dubbing the three sisters.
