In the comedy “That Carlson Still”, performing actors and director Sarik Andreasyan tried to give a second life to the famous fairy tale Astrid Lindgren about a man living on the roof. True, the plot has changed beyond recognition, but the familiar characters, as before, remained in their places. So, who participated in the filming of this children's film? By the way, in the original, its name sounds like "That Carloson."

The creators of the picture and a short plot

In the film "That Carlson Still" the actors were involved quite well-known. But no less famous is the director of the project - Sarik Andreasyan, who made films such as “Office Romance. Our time ”,“ What men do ”and“ Pregnant ”. All these paintings received mostly negative reviews from critics. In 2015, Sarik migrated to Hollywood and shot the movie "American Robbery" with Adrien Brody in the title role. But even the excellent cast did not save the film: for example, on the reputable Metacritic website, it has a rating of only 23 points out of 100.

Nevertheless, Sarik is not discouraged and continues to shoot a wide variety of paintings with enviable persistence. As a cameraman, he invited Anton Zenkovich (The Queen of Spades: The Black Rite) to his project “That Still Carloson”; Tatyana Umanets (New Year’s Tariff) acted as the film’s artist, and the film was produced by Georgy Malkov (“Love in the Big City”) and Ghevond Andreasyan (“What Men-2 Do”).

It is not easy to find a performer for such a colorful character like Carloson. Nevertheless, the director opted for comedian Mikhail Galustyan - a former KVN-schik, and now a movie actor.

In the film "That Carlson Still", the actors told the young audience a completely new version of the events from the fairy tale of Astrid Lindgren. In fact, Carloson is an agent of the fairy-tale people of metrics who help children solve their problems. So this time, the character of Galustyan is sent to Earth to the Kid so that “a man in the prime of life” would help the boy reconcile his parents. Along the way, Toddler and Carloson manage to not only save the marriage, but also prevent the crime, expose the scammers and make a lot of noise in the district.

In addition to the fact that Galustyan played the main role in the film, he also acted as the creative producer of the project.

The role of Daddy Kid went to the famous Russian actor and showman Igor Vernik. The actor is a graduate of the Moscow Art Theater School. She started acting in films back in 1980, playing a cameo role in the film “They are called up in the spring”. Then the young actor appeared in the free film adaptation of “The Master and Margarita” by M. Bulgakov in 1994, as well as in the series “On the corner of the Patriarchs”.

Since the 2000s, the actor has been more and more acting in melodramas. As a rule, he plays either Lovelace, or characters that are distinguished by a pedantic, a little boring character. The film “That Carlson” provided the actor with the opportunity to appear on the screens in the last role: what is the episode when the Kid complains to his father about the scammers frightening him, and in response he urges him to turn to a psychologist. Despite the fact that the character of Wernick is on the verge of a divorce, by the end of the film he manages to settle all conflicts with his wife and save his family.

The film "That Carlson Still" was another movie work for Maria Semkina. In the picture, she played Baby's mom.

Maria Semkina spent her youth in the city of Rostov-on-Don. After school, she graduated from the Institute of National Economy, but did not work in the profession. Instead, the girl went to a contest held by a local modeling agency and won the title “Lady Charm” on it. After some time, Maria was recognized as the “Rostov Beauty”.

The actors of the movie “That Carlson Still” are famous personalities in many respects. The same can be said of Nonna Grishaeva, a comedian who has been very popular lately.

Nonna began with quite serious roles: in the series “Countess de Monsoro” she appeared in the form of a maid, in the melodrama “Moscow Vacations” she played a laboratory assistant. But Nonna made a name for herself on comedy projects. For the first time, the media spoke about the actress after her roles in the films “Election Day”, “Radio Day” and “The Irony of Love”. In the film “That Still Carloson,” Grishaeva got the role of the modern Freken Bock. True, the character of Nonna can only be called conditionally, since the nanny Elena in her performance is a modern young woman. But the reputation of the “housekeeper” remained with the heroine Grishaeva.
