The recipe is that this drink is prepared by special cold infusion. In this process, vodka (or alcohol) is saturated with those aromatic substances that are inherent in mountain ash. Because of this, the actual taste of the drink changes. So, now you can directly consider the process of making such a drink as rowan tincture.
The first recipe. First of all, you need to select large berries, which it is desirable to collect after frost. Then the taste of the drink will be even more original. Berries should be separated from the stems, then rinse them in ice water and dry. Then sprinkle mountain ash on a baking sheet and dry a little in the oven. The main thing here is not to overdo it. The recipe for rowan tincture has one secret. Vodka, before using in the preparation of tinctures, needs to be cleaned well. The best way is to use activated carbon.
