Actor Vladimir Osenev: biography, theater and cinema

Nowadays, Vladimir Osenev is rarely remembered undeservedly. Once this talented actor shone on the stage of the Vakhtangov Theater. He masterfully performed characteristic comedic roles. Vladimir Ivanovich began acting in films in 1934, but became known quite late. His heroes were aristocrats, senior military officials, and foreigners.

Vladimir Osenev: family, childhood

The actor’s hometown is Moscow. The date of birth of Vladimir Osenev is September 21, 1908. The actor, who often played aristocrats, grew up in a simple working-class family. His father had the specialty of a decoder. Mom did not work, she took care of two sons - Volodya and his younger brother Kolya.

The boys were drawn to creative activity. Nikolai Osenev loved to draw. Subsequently, he became a famous artist. Vladimir, as a child, preferred music, studied at a music school.

Choice of profession

Father Vladimir Ozenev died early. The desire to help the family, having lost the breadwinner, forced the future actor to start earning money early. After school, he entered the Moscow Industrial and Economic College. This played an important role in his fate. There was a theater studio at the technical school, in the life of which Vladimir began to take an active part. He soon realized that he did not want to become a bank employee.

Osenev was beckoned by the theater, and he decided not to resist it. Vladimir dropped out of college and went to Sverdlovsk. The guy began to play in the extras of the local Youth Theater. A few years later he got his first standing role. Osenev played Repetilov in "Woe from Wit." In 1933 he entered the second year of school at the Vakhtangov Theater as a volunteer.

Vladimir Osenev was able to demonstrate the versatility of his talent thanks to the Vakhtangov Theater. His romance with him began with the role of Farind in Straw Hat. This image revealed him as a bright, sharp-character artist.

Gradually, Osenev developed a certain role. Nobles, foreigners, senior military officials - he played such roles. Standing out among other actors, Vladimir was helped by the ability to internal experience, innate intelligence. For each of his small roles, the artist treated with such trepidation, as if he had been instructed to play the main character.

In life, actor Vladimir Osenev was an intelligent, tactful and modest person. He married his classmate Galina Konovalova. The artist lived in marriage with this woman for about forty years, the couple served in the same theater. In 1940, Vladimir and Galina became the parents of Elena's daughter. Vladimir was a caring and attentive husband and father, but the theater was always in the first place for him.
