In 1999, a new musical project "Burito" was created. An interesting fact is that the founders of the team do not strive for commercial success, they want to create music for the soul, which can make someone kinder, and possibly change the world for the better. "Burito" is three hieroglyphs: bu - a warrior, ri - truth, logic, then - a sword.
Band members
The Burito group was founded by three Moscow like-minded people, colleagues, friends and just creative people who love music. Sergey Zakharov, Andrey Shcheglov and Igor Bledny were at the forefront of the new youth project. Initially, the guys were known only in a narrow circle of lovers of electronic alternative music, but over time, more and more people became interested in the original style, non-trivial lyrics, and “Burito” had its own dedicated fans. In 2001, a new member Igor Burnyshev (Garik) joined the team, he became a vocalist and author of many compositions. It was Garik who breathed a second life into a fashion project.
For a year, the guys were able to record their first album "Funky Life", produced by Vladimir Filippov. It included compositions in the style of rap-core (hard rock with elements of hip-hop and rap). The guys are still working on their second album. By coincidence, for 12 years the group “Burito” practically did not perform, was artificially put into a state of suspended animation. Already in 2013, the guys reappeared in the sky of their native show business.
This year, the team celebrated its fifteenth anniversary.
Soloist of the group "Burito"
Igor Burnyshev, aka Garik and DJ DMCB, two years after the founding of the group became its soloist and songwriter. Igor is a native of Izhevsk; he came to Moscow to receive a director's education. Thanks to his passion for music, break dance and hip-hop, he organically joined the team of alternative artists. In 2005, his career went uphill, but as part of another group. Banderas is a project in which Garik took part.
Today, when the popularity of the R & B project has slightly subsided, Burnyshev again plunged into writing songs for "Burito".
Band hits
There are a lot of tracks in the music box of the collective. Some of them managed to become real hits. Today there are 13 tracks in the repertoire. The songs of the Burito group are always a message to the young generation of positive emotions, a good beat and high-quality lyrics. The most popular were the tracks that were released after 2013: “I dance”, “You know about me”, “Mom”, “While the city sleeps”, “Break me”, “Leave with captions”.
The original video works were shot on several compositions. Since Igor Burnyshev is also a director, he developed the clip for one of the most popular songs of the band “You Know About Me” himself. The video was shot on an iPhone with different lenses. Work on the clip took more than six months - so scrupulously the guys approached their brainchild. By the way, Garik performed as a composer, and he sang this track along with the mega-popular Christmas tree.
The Burito group shot a black-and-white video filled with city everyday life, choreography and graphics on the track “Leaving with captions”.
In 2015, the band presented its new video for the song "Mom".
Concert activity
Despite the long musical history, the group “Burito” gave their first solo concert only 15 years after the creation of the collective. On May 22, 2015, Garik, together with his fellow musicians, spoke to invited guests, of whom there were as many as 250 people. These were mostly loyal fans and friends of artists. The atmosphere at the concert reigned the most friendly and positive.
July 18, 2015 was a full-fledged concert "Burito" in Sukhumi. The very next day, the guys met St. Petersburg. In August, the group announced a concert in one of the clubs in Minsk. In November, another performance is planned in Moscow.
The team has big plans for the future, and this time the guys are sure that they will implement them.
