Early period
Dallon Weeks was born in a small town. He is the second of four children. He was brought up in Clearfield in a Mormon family. Parents moved to Utah after the birth of our hero. The future musician studied at Clearfield High School. There he met most of the future colleagues at The Brobecks.
After graduating from school, the young man in 1999 served in Oklahoma as a Mormon missionary. He was engaged in this activity for two years. When our hero returned home, he became a student at Weber University. He studied music for a long time.
The brobecks
Dallon Weeks perceived the group as a mere hobby. He arrived in Utah, after having spent two years in Oklahoma.
The name of the team The Brobecks was given by one of the founder's school friends. The original composition of the group included Dallon Weeks himself. He was joined by two of his school friends: Matt Glass and Scott Jones. Several years have passed. The group recorded basement demos of compositions, toured and changed compositions. As a result, the team received a contract with Drive-Thru Records.
Our hero twice received offers from Sony BMG, as well as one indie label about pursuing a solo career and leaving the group. The musician refused both times. Later, he separately emphasized that he was not going to leave colleagues in the team.
After some time, 2 more friends joined the group - Brian Szymanski and Mike Gross. They took the places of pianist and guitarist. In this composition, the team acted until 2003. At this point, Jones left the team. He was replaced by Casey Durrans. In this composition, the team recorded the first demo album. The disc was not yet completed, but the musicians had already begun to give concerts. Live performances soon attracted fans, and the venues filled the audience.
After a few months of touring, Durrance left the band. Nevertheless, this did not affect the work of the collective, and soon the second album, called Happiest Nuclear Winter, was released. After the official presentation of the record, the team went on tour.
Panic! At the disco
Dallon Weeks became a member of the group in 2009. He was assigned the functions of backing vocalist and bass player on a temporary basis.
But the โtouringโ status of the musician changed in 2010. At that time, the group had a tour in China. It was then that Spencer Smith and Brandon Urie asked our hero to join the team for a long time. However, the musician himself confirmed his full participation in the group only in 2012.
After the tour, Weeks, Smith, and Uri worked in the studio and prepared their fourth album. The new disc was announced in 2013 and was called Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die. The release was scheduled for October 8 of that year. Our hero worked hard on this record. The rights to the bonus track called All the Boys at Night belong to Weeks.
To promote the album, the single Miss Jackson was created. It was released on July 15 of that year. A clip was shot for him. Rumor has it that Dallon Weeks has left Panic! At the Disco, however, it was not confirmed. The group went on tour in Europe and the United States to support the new album. The team performed the song Miss Jackson in Moscow at the contest "Miss Universe". And in January and February 2014, the group was touring the USA, Mexico and Australia.
