Umberto Serrano was born on May 21, 1942 in one of the Spanish cities. Despite the fact that the actor was born in Spain, he worked for the most part exclusively for Argentinean cinema, although at times he played roles in Spanish films. In addition to films, he also received roles in the theater and was the host of several programs on Argentine television.

Umberto Serrano played mainly in dramatic performances, and he got exclusively those roles that are usually given to the auxiliary staff. He earned his first popularity in Argentina for filming in two famous telenovelas. The first of them is called "Raphael." In this film, the actor got the role of an eccentric lawyer who is always ready to get to the heart of the case he is investigating. In the same film, Alberto de Mendoza played with him, with whom Umberto subsequently became friends. As for the second famous novel “Wild Angel”, Serrano played a priest there, distinguished by extraordinary kindness. In this series, according to the plot, the hero had a pupil named Milagros. Her role was played by the famous actress Natalia Oreiro.

Last role

The last time the actor Umberto appeared on the set of the film in 2012. Then for his novel “Sweet Love” he was hired by the famous Argentinean television company Telefé. In the film, Umberto Serrano played the character of Rocco Bonfatti - always calm and good-natured owner of a small candy store from Bundy. Umberto spent the last years of his life in Buenos Aires, where he died on January 21, 2013.
