Coffee liqueur

Liqueurs are a group of alcoholic beverages having a different strength and necessarily some kind of filler. So, berries, cocoa and fruits are added to sweet drinks , and herbs and spices to bitter ones. Such alcohol is produced in many European countries and can be part of cocktails or aperitifs. At the same time, coffee liquor has excellent taste qualities , which can be prepared easily at home, for this it is only necessary to have some skills.

Consider a few examples of making liquor at home.

1. A traditional recipe for coffee liquor.

Ingredients: two bottles of vodka, three tablespoons of natural coffee, one glass of sugar and water, one spoon of lemon juice.

Grind coffee, pour water and bring to a boil. The resulting broth is kept for one day in a sealed container, then it is filtered and vodka is added. In a separate bowl, sugar and water are mixed (one glass) and boiled until the mass thickens. After which it is cooled, added coffee and stir well. You can also add lemon juice and vanilla. Coffee liquor is kept in bottles for two to three days (until a precipitate appears), then gently poured into a different bowl and put in a dark place to insist.

2. Liquor "Mocha".

Ingredients: half a liter of dark beer, one glass of alcohol and sugar, three tablespoons of ground coffee, a bag of vanilla.

The following products are placed in the pan: beer, coffee and sugar - and heated until the latter is dissolved. In this case, the temperature should be fifty degrees, otherwise the taste of the drink will be lost. The resulting mixture is poured into a jar, sugar, alcohol are added, mix well and close tightly.

When the coffee liquor has cooled, it is placed in a cold place for three days. Then the drink is filtered and again put in a colder place to insist. It should be said that the strength of such a liquor should be thirty degrees. However, if there is no alcohol in the house, it is replaced with vodka. In this case, the fortress will drop to twenty degrees.

3. Liquor coffee Irish cream.

Ingredients: half a liter of ten percent cream, two tablespoons of coffee, three hundred grams of condensed milk, one egg, three hundred grams of alcohol, fifty grams of melted dark chocolate.

Melt the chocolate, add cream and condensed milk, then coffee and mix well. The yolk is separated from the protein and slightly beat, then it is slowly poured into the total mass with alcohol. All are thoroughly mixed and bottled, which they put for four days in a cool place. You can store coffee liquor in the refrigerator for up to six months.

The longer liquors stand, the tastier they become. It is recommended to withstand this drink for a month to acquire a great aroma and high palatability.

When preparing liquor, instead of alcohol or vodka, some people prefer to use brandy or cognac. In the latter case, coffee liqueurs acquire some zest and become better in taste than any drink purchased in the store.

To date, there are a lot of recipes for making coffee liqueurs. Which one to use depends on the personal preferences of the cook, as well as on his culinary abilities. It should only be said that this kind of liquor in any case is prepared for alcohol with the addition of coffee beans, giving it the appropriate color and invigorating aroma. The strength of such an alcoholic drink is usually 17-30%. It can be consumed independently, or added to cocktails or various desserts. In any case, it must be borne in mind that caffeine is contained in this drink in a concentrated form. In addition, it must be remembered that drinking alcohol is necessary in moderation.
