Life is an unjust thing. Someone spends half his life participating in auditions to get at least one role. And someone is becoming popular in the elementary grades. Actor Jimmy Bennett belongs to the second category. In the article, we will pay attention to his biography and career.
Childhood dream
Jimmy Bennett (photos are given in this article) was born in Seal Beach (California) in 1996, and now lives in Huntington Beach with his parents and sister Amanda. By the way, from an early age he dreamed of becoming a film actor. And his dream came true, and pretty soon.
Already in 2002 he got into the cast of the multi-part crime drama “Defender”, and in 2003 he played one of the many children in the family comedy “Daddy Duty”. A year later, in the drama “Little Chicks” (2004) Jimmy played the role of the six-year-old son of a drug addict and a prostitute. And then, along with Bruce Willis, he appeared in the action movie Hostage (2005). So, the beginning of a career was laid. And it turned out pretty well, considering that at that time he was only nine years old.
In cinema and on television
Bennett Jimmy is an actor whose films are not tied to any particular genre. There are comedies, dramas, and action films, and thrillers, and horrors among them. So, in 2005, he played Michael Lutz, one of the sons of George and Katie Lutz, who, like many movie families, were “lucky” to buy a large, old and, of course, damned house. A year later, together with the American actor Harrison Ford, he appeared in the crime thriller Fire Wall (2006). And in 2007 he starred in the comedy Evan Almighty with Steven Karel and Morgan Freeman in the lead roles.
Probably, in the career of each actor, multi-series projects occupy some place. Even if it comes to episodic roles. And Bennett Jimmy is no exception. He got roles at once in several series, such as “Fair Amy” (1999-2005), “Strong Medicine” (2000-2006), “Gilmore Girls” (2000-2007), “Crime Scene” (2000-2015), “The widower’s love” (2002-2006), “First-degree murder” (2014-2016), etc.
In addition, actor Jimmy Bennett participated in the filming of the sci-fi series “The Extraordinary Family” (2010-2011), and played one of the main roles. True, due to low ratings it was closed. In any case, for his age, the actor has an impressive collection of films, including more than forty projects. And below we dwell on three of them.
The Horror of Amityville (2005)
This picture is a remake of the film, shot in 1979, sort of based on a true story. But the couple sincerely believed that these terrible events of the distant past could not interfere with their true happy lives. Until strange things began to happen, forcing Katie to learn more about the history of this house. But only when a woman finds out shocking facts, it becomes too late to change something.

There he meets Constable Sanders, who takes him to a special school, where Moon meets new friends and, of course, makes enemies. But, despite the difficulties, the guy is trying to adapt to life in the local community and his new home.
“The same as she” (2015)
The latest film is a thriller about a sixteen-year-old girl named Jessica Burns. She has a goal - to bring her ex-girlfriend out into the open, who only seems to be a kind and pleasant person. For some time she did not reveal this secret to anyone, but now she decided to entrust it to her friend Brian (actor Jimmy Bennett). And he agrees to help.
The guy himself soon becomes convinced of the veracity of Jessica's accusations. A couple of days is enough for him to understand how cruel, evil and ruthless is Avery Keller's universal favorite. It remains only to collect the necessary evidence and open the eyes of the whole school.
