This interesting and unusual in preparation culinary masterpiece came to us from the East. There they call it chak-chak, consider it exclusively festive and serve only to large feasts. Our mistresses interpreted it a little, and we got an unusual honey slide, the recipe of which still includes all the main ingredients - aromatic honey, flour, eggs and milk.
Secrets and little tricks
Deep-fried strips of dough, after beautifully laid and always filled with sweet syrup - this is a honey slide. The recipe (with a photo of the finished result) includes some nuances that make this dish as tasty as possible.
- It is not necessary to knead the dough yourself, it can be purchased at the store. Often, housewives for this purpose use its trim, which remains a lot after cooking pasties or other similar products.
- The deep fat should be warmed up gradually, over a small fire, so that thin delicate strips do not overcook.
- Pouring is prepared without water, only honey and sugar are used in equal amounts.
Cooking
To make a delicious honey slide, the recipe must be done in stages, and dried fruits, nuts and other useful additives must be purchased in advance. Cook the dough steep, dense, like noodles. In flour (1.5 cups) add eggs (3-4 pcs.) And a small amount of milk (100 g).
- Cut the dough into strips about half a centimeter wide, try not to sprinkle them with flour very much, when frying it quickly burns and spoils the taste and appearance of the finished dish.
- Do not go anywhere from the stove, the strips are fried in literally 15 seconds, we pull them out with a slotted spoon and be sure to let the oil drain.
