The series "The Cycle" in 2016 tells the story of Barbara Grishina. She works with her uncle at the medical center. The heroine is a children's doctor. She loves her own profession. Moreover, she herself cannot have children. It was because of this that her relationship with Ivan, a football coach, was destroyed. They were in love. However, Ivan dreamed of a large family and left Varia when he found out that she was barren.
However, the heroine managed to start a new life. She accepted the proposal for marriage from her colleague Rodion Kozlov. The wedding day arrives, the guests gather, but the groom is late. At this moment, he rushes with his mistress Karina to the hospital, because she had premature birth. This situation caused serious complications.
Karina dies during childbirth. The obstetrician surgeon Lydia Gatich operated on the girl. She learned the day before that a surrogate mother had fled the hospital, bearing a child for a rich couple: Vyacheslav Perlin, a fashion photographer, as well as Olga, his wife. Lydia urgently needed a lot of money. She decided to commit a crime - to give Olga Perlina the child of the deceased Karina and Rodion.
The young man married Varya. He is sure that he could not save his son either, for this reason his wife decides not to say anything about what happened. However, the truth is revealed when Yegor, Karina’s groom, comes. He blames the death of the girl Rodion. After, in order to be closer to the enemy, he gets a job at the very hospital.
Cheating husband hurts Varia. Heroes quarrel at a time when the girl for the first time for many years has made progress in overcoming infertility. Treatment opens up the possibility of pregnancy. In the circumstances described, Ivan appears. By any means, the ex-groom wants to return Varia. Meanwhile, the Perlins marriage is in jeopardy.
Vyacheslav notes that the son of Taras does not look like parents. Olga has to tell that this child is a stranger. Will the heroes be able to stop the cycle of betrayal, insurmountable circumstances and deception in order to find genuine and long-awaited happiness?
