Brother 2 (2000)
The second part of the famous Russian super action movie from director Alexei Balabanov turned out to be more exciting than the first. The film was a stunning success among the audience. Critics also noted that this is a spectacular and correct Russian film - a super thriller with crime and drama.
In the story, they kill Konstantin Gromov (Alexander Dyachenko) - a friend of the protagonist Danila Bagrov (Sergey Bodrov). A friend saved him during the Chechen war. Some time before, Konstantin asked to help his twin brother, who plays hockey in the NHL. However, all the money under the contract is taken by the American mafia. The Piranha Hunt (2006)
One of the first truly Russian super fighters was shot from the eponymous book of the popular writer Alexander Bushkov from the series about Rear Admiral Kirill Mazur, whom the combat comrades in the special forces of the USSR Navy knew as “Piranha”.
The plot of the script is slightly different from the adventure novel. For example, in a movie, the main character travels to the taiga with a special task, and in the book he gets into a difficult situation, just relaxing with his wife. The historical Russian super action movie is based on real events of the recent past. However, the director Kavun included the crew of the fictional hero - Ukrainian Vakulenko, an ardent supporter of Orthodoxy and the unity of Russians and Ukrainians. And the real participants in the escape - the co-pilot Khayrullin Gazinur and flight engineer Askhat Abbyazov - did not pass ethnic control. And the crew turned out to be purely Slavic, for which some critics dubbed the film a "patriotic opus."
The Russian transport aircraft IL-76 with a load of ammunition was forcibly landed by a Taliban fighter at the airport of Kandahar. The following were captured: aircraft commander Vladimir Sharpatov (Alexander Baluev), co-pilot Serega (Vladimir Mashkov), navigator Alexander Gotov (Andrey Panin) and flight engineer Vitek (Alexander Golubev). Desperate to wait for help from Russian diplomats, the pilots agree to train dushmans. One day, when most of the guards prayed, they managed to get on an aircraft. After 378 days spent in captivity, the crew manages to fly on their own plane.
"22 minutes" (2014)
The popular Russian super action movie was based on real events that occurred in 2010 in the Gulf of Aden, when a Liberian ship with a Russian crew was attacked by pirates.
In the spring of 2005, the Russian gas tanker Yamal goes along the Gulf of Aden. But suddenly, over the speakerphone, the voice of captain Dekalin (Alexander Galibin) is heard, announcing an armed attack on the ship. The ship is captured by Somali pirates from the gang of Amin Nur Bare (Ibrahim Tour). Done accidentally on a tanker was a marine corps soldier, sailor Alexander Yezhov (Makar Zaporizhzhya). He has a very difficult time, but he knows that his comrades are in a hurry to help. The assault will go to the capture group of the Marine Corps under the command of Captain Tarasov (Denis Nikiforov).
The Legend of Kolovrat (2017)
The creators of the historical Russian super action movie did not pursue authenticity, but simply decided to show a fairy-tale world with good and bad characters. And to focus on how circumstances make a legendary hero out of an ordinary warrior. The painting was sold to several countries around the world, including Mongolia.
In 1237, the Mongol army led by Batu Khan (Alexander Tsoi) went on a campaign in Russia. Knyazhich Fedor Yuryevich (Ilya Antonenko), accompanied by the foreman Evpatiy Kolovrat (Ilya Malakov) was sent to the horde for negotiations. The prince was killed, and several soldiers manage to escape by flight. Evpatiy, having assembled a small detachment, begins a guerrilla war. He even manages to kill the Mongol commander Khostovrul (Georgy Pitskhelauri).
Viewers note that the actors' play was up to the mark, which they did not expect from Russian cinema.
