Spring, summer and autumn are the seasons when the human body is simply obliged to be saturated with vitamins necessary for beauty and health. And, of course, he must do this with the help of natural sources, such as the sun, air and food. Of the latter, of course, vegetables and fruits are preferable, to our joy, quite affordable, and often growing in our gardens.
This article will focus on one of these products - zucchini. They have many useful qualities. And the taste ... If you cook them correctly, thereby preserving all the useful properties, the taste possessed, for example, by squash in a slow cooker (recipes of which, by the way, exist in a wide variety of variations), will amaze you with its uniqueness. I can’t even believe that from this completely unprepossessing outwardly looking, not possessing in the raw form any bright smell of vegetable such truly delicious amazing dishes can be obtained. In discussions about how to cook in a slow cooker, the recipes come to mind are very different: from cooking and frying to stewing and baking. Zucchini, the protagonist of this article, will do any of these things. We discuss several of them, the most common. We will cook in the slow cooker.
Stuffed zucchini
In a slow cooker, recipes do not differ much from those for a traditional stove and oven, but the dishes themselves turn out to be more aromatic and juicy. For the preparation of stuffed zucchini, we will use the preliminary preparation of the ingredients of the dish in a pan. This is just to save time. If you wish, you can carry out all the actions in a slow cooker using the "Baking" mode. If you cook zucchini in the Panasonic cooker of the latest models, then the Express mode is very convenient, which is similar to Baking, but allows you to set a shorter cooking time.
So, cook the rice until half ready. In a frying pan in vegetable oil, fry, stirring, minced meat (0.5 kg). Add the grated onion, 1 tomato and 1 bell pepper, as well as 3 minced garlic cloves, spices (pepper, ginger) to the minced meat. Combine the resulting mixture with rice. Stuffing is ready! Boil the zucchini in salted water, peel the seeds, cut into rings about 3 cm thick and place in the crock-pot. We fill each ring of zucchini with minced meat, grease with sour cream and sprinkle with a mixture of chopped tomato and apple on top. Fill the zucchini with the broth left over from their cooking: up to about half their height. That's all, the zucchini in the slow cooker is almost ready! Recipes, as already mentioned, are simple. Next: “Baking” or “Express” mode for 20 minutes, and then “Extinguishing” for 1 hour. A delicious, nutritious and healthy dish is ready!
Squash caviar
The next dish that you definitely need to remember when thinking about how else you can cook zucchini in a slow cooker, recipes for which are discussed in this article is squash caviar. Yes, yes, this is the same caviar that we used to buy in stores - delicious, beloved from childhood! And she is preparing surprisingly simple. To prepare zucchini caviar, we need very little, all products are affordable and inexpensive, and the result ... The result will definitely exceed all your expectations! 2 carrots and 2 onions, peeled and chopped, fry in vegetable oil in a multicooker bowl. In this recipe, we will not use the pan, because the cooking process already starts with the frying process, we do not need to shift anything anywhere. Baking or Express mode, time - about 20 minutes. Next, grind the zucchini (500 grams), bell pepper (1 piece) and hot pepper (a little). Add all this to the bowl, mix and fry it all again (in the same mode, the same amount of time). Next 2 tbsp. l tomato paste, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. add sugar to the total mass, mix well and turn on the "Extinguishing" mode, leave for an hour. After the specified time, having heard a sound signal informing about the readiness of the dish, put the ready-made squash caviar in a saucepan or bowl, grind it with a blender. That's all, as you can see, everything is really very, very simple - we have the same caviar from a can, which is only more tasty and healthy. Cool down. The dish is ready!

Zucchini with potatoes
And finally, a dish that cooks simply and quickly. It can be done every day, and if desired, and even using imagination, it can be improved, achieving even more interesting taste. For cooking, we need zucchini, potatoes, garlic, salt, herbs, spices to taste. Everything is very simple: put in a bowl multicookers, sprinkled with vegetable oil, chopped potatoes, salt. On top of it is a sliced zucchini. Turn on the "Baking" mode. The total cooking time is 40 minutes. 20 minutes after the start of cooking, mix already half-cooked vegetables. If you prefer not to open the multicooker lid during cooking, you should initially set the time to 20 minutes, and after mixing another 20. After hearing a signal that indicates the end of the cooking process, add chopped garlic and herbs. Leave in heating mode for 5 minutes. That's it! The supper is ready!
Having shown imagination, you can initially add other vegetables to the dish, for example, eggplant and (or) sweet pepper. You will get delicious vegetable stew. Enjoy your meal!
