It remains to add mayonnaise to taste, mix and put on a plate. And in order for the salad to live up to its name, they make a depression in the center and spread the yolks there.
To prepare the second version of the grouse nest salad, in addition to the ingredients already indicated, a cucumber is also needed. There are minor differences in the preparation. So, potatoes for this salad are not chopped, but they are rubbed on a coarse grater, and the remaining ingredients are cut finer than in the previous case. The method of filing is different. If the salad prepared according to the first recipe is more convenient to serve on a flat plate, then this is laid out in a deep bowl, and on top, using the rest of the fried potatoes, they make a nest. Since the nest as a result is more miniature, the yolks themselves will look unpretentious as decoration. Another very interesting salad with fried potatoes is called “Red Pearl”. The salad owes this name to the seeds of pomegranate, which are part of its composition. In addition to potatoes and pomegranate, the salad includes lean pork, radish, carrots, beets, onions, mayonnaise, spices.
Pork needs to be cut into strips and fry. In the same way, potatoes are cut and fried. Vegetables are cut into strips or in a harvester using a Korean carrot nozzle.
