To make pear wine at home, you will need the following ingredients: 10 kg of fruit, 5 kg of sugar and 10 liters of water. First about pears. Fruits can belong to one or to different varieties. This, of course, affects the taste of the future drink, because it retains the aroma of the fruit. Therefore, strangely enough, many winemakers prefer to use wild pears as raw materials .
They are very sweet, with a rich aroma, which provides the wine with a wonderful smell and taste. The fruits should be washed well under running water, cleaned from the core and stalks.
A separate topic is water. Wonderful if it is from a well or spring. Rarely what kind of tap water is suitable for making pear wine at home. Therefore, the water from the tap must first be cleaned. You can rely on modern filters. And you can freeze tap water and purify it in this way.
The dishes in which the pear wine will βplayβ should be either glass or wooden. If glass, then usually it is a bottle (at least 20 liters), if a tree is a barrel.
You can also use plastic utensils, just make sure that it is intended for food.
Now about the process itself. Sugar must be completely dissolved in water. Pears cut into thin slices are poured into a bowl with our sweet liquid, which will soon turn into pear wine, cooked at home. If the bottle is not completely filled, it is allowed to top up with clean water.
Next, we leave the future wine to βplayβ in a dark, warm place. Before this, the dishes must be tightly closed so that air does not enter it. Otherwise, instead of a delicious sweet wine, we run the risk of sour vinegar. For tightness, you can use a rubber glove that is worn, for example, on the neck of a can. But better (more reliable) is a water seal. This is a special cork made of plastic or wood, from which the tube comes out. It must be lowered into a container of water. When bubbles cease to form on it, the wine ceased to ferment, which means it is ready to drink. The glove will tell you that pear wine is ready at home, it will deflate.

Ready drink carefully, so as not to spoil the sediment, bottled. They must first be sterilized. We close it with traffic jams and send it to the basement, cellar or any other cool place. In urban areas, you can use a refrigerator. Just make sure that the temperature in it does not drop to minus. Bottles should be horizontal for at least a month. Two is better. In general, in order to make high-quality wine at home, you need to give it a good brew. Then it gets a really rich and warm taste.
Pear wine tastes like apple, only it is more sweet and honey. You can add lemon juice, cinnamon, mint or other ingredients to it. They will allow you to take a fresh look at its taste and aroma. And pear wine is an excellent basis for alcoholic cocktails, which can also be easily prepared at home. But this is a completely different story.
