Our skin is considered beautiful only when there are no rashes, spots, blackheads on it. When the spots on the skin peel off, it gives a lot of grief to their owner, even if they do not cause physical discomfort. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, we will analyze only the main ones.
Pink lichenThe disease occurs after a viral or streptococcal infection. At first, one "mother" spot is noticeable, and after a week there are already a lot of them. The spots on the skin are flaky, have a pink color, in their center there may be yellowing and folded scales. The periphery of the element is free from peeling. The disease goes away on its own in a month, but during the rash period it is better to abandon the tight or rubbing body of clothing. You should not and often swim, this leads to a deterioration.
Flaky spots on the legs may appear after local procedures - hair removal, baths with medicinal plants, the use of various cosmetic and medicinal products. People with varicose veins are prone to rashes on the lower extremities.
Psoriasis
The disease is more often inherited, but can also occur in the absence of rashes in the next of kin. Postponed viral infections, severe nervous shocks, and medication provoke its development. With psoriasis, red spots on the skin peel off, they are abundantly covered with whitish scales. If the formation is scraped a little, a point bleeding appears, a bright pink surface is exposed under the scales. The disease can progress and proceed for a long time. At first, only a few spots appear, but over time, their number increases, they can merge and form plaques.
Allergic dermatitis
Often there are rashes after a person comes in contact with chemicals - washing powders, insecticides, cosmetic creams, hair dye, deodorant. At the beginning, the picture resembles eczema: a red spot forms on the surface of the skin, small bubbles on it, they can subsequently be opened. If the allergy is not so pronounced, a wet surface does not appear. The spots on the skin peel off, itch very much, crusts and small scales are visible on their surface. Initially, rashes appear at the site of skin contact with the allergen, but then they can spread throughout the body. Dermatitis can be a manifestation of a food allergy if a person has eaten a product that is dangerous for him (chocolate, eggs, nuts, citrus fruits).
Fungal skin lesions
There is an infection in contact with other personal hygiene items, for example, when using shoes, towels, gloves, washcloths, bedding. The rash is often localized on the lower extremities, between the toes, in the inguinal folds. The spots on the skin peel off, bubbles appear, filled with unclear contents, the skin in these areas exfoliates. Then these phenomena pass, but the fungus continues to exist in the deep layers of the dermis. However, after the use of special drugs, the disease quickly recedes.
If the skin is very dry, peeling may appear after taking a shower or bath. In this case, the patient needs to establish nutrition, stop dieting, consume vitamins A and E.
As you can see, the causes of flaky rashes are quite numerous. If no action is taken, this condition will progress. After all, clean skin indicates the general well-being of the body, so if any rashes appear on it, you should pay attention to your own health.
