The painting was created in 2009 in the Russian Federation. The actors of the Sword played very complex and multifaceted roles. The plot unfolds around a former Airborne Forces officer, whose name is Maxim Kalinin (Eduard Flerov plays it). After his resignation, he decides to devote his life and himself entirely to the fight against crime, so he goes to work in the criminal police.
The series "Sword": Season 1
Of course, the service of Maxim Kalinin in the police is developing very successfully, because a specially trained person with experience will be able to work in the field of law enforcement. But after one successful detention, everything gets out of hand. Maxim Kalinin is approached by his boss - commander Muratov (played by Shukhat Irgashev) - and recommends that he forget that his detainee Girko (Sergei Fisher) used firearms. And the colonel explains everything with the fact that the kidnapper had very generous and respectable relatives who paid a large sum so that Girko would receive only a suspended sentence. Muratov lays out an envelope in front of Maxim, which contains a very impressive amount of money. Kalinin was confused after such an offer. After some thought, he throws the envelope with the money in the face of the commander and breaks his nose. Naturally, such unacceptable behavior could not go unnoticed. Kalinin was fired, not having the right to work more in law enforcement. But Maxim all the time did not leave the thought that the attacker would go unpunished, commit crimes. Actors of the “Sword” literally from the first series were able to interest and charm the viewer.
Sword Team
Kalinin, as an experienced military man, takes everything into his own hands. He hunts down an impunity criminal and kills him in a cafe toilet, stabbing him with a knife. After this incident, Max began to think about the crime rate in Moscow. He understood that there were and will be many such cases. But in order to achieve a certain result, he needs a team of like-minded people who could fight with him for justice in Moscow.
The very first like-minded person was a sniper - sergeant Konstantin Orlov (Roman Kurtsyn), with whom Maxim served in his youth in Chechnya. Then they were joined by a former investigator named Anton Karev, played by Timur Efremenko. He was convicted and released for the murder of a criminal he caught.
Later, Orlov and Kalinin attracted the widow of the deceased commando, whose name is Elena Zhurova (Daria Povarenova), to their activities. She works as a doctor in an ambulance and gladly agreed to help. Then Olga Stepnenko (Victoria Fisher), who works as a prosecutor, joined the group. This organization called itself “Sword”, and then began its activities against crime in Moscow.
Filming
For the first time the series "Sword" was shown in Ukraine on November 16, 2009. And then, on February 15, 2010, the film was already presented on the REN-TV channel in the Russian Federation.
Later, the tape and the actors of the series “Sword” were nominated for the Golden Rhino Award in so many categories. Nominations paid off. Actors of the series "Sword" received a lot of awards and prizes.
Many scenes were shot in Moscow, namely in Ostankino. Among the audience and fans of the series "Sword" there is a very real version about the history of the film. They say that in the 1990s a company was assembled in Moscow from law enforcement officials who called themselves “White Arrow”. They engaged in the fight against crime and cleared the horizon, making it peaceful and suitable for a quiet life.
At the end of the film, the Sword group was slandered by fabricating a murder. He was shown on television. Later, the FSB begins to chase the group and kills almost all team members. On such an incomprehensible note, season 1 ends. The viewer is so captivated by the plot that people look forward to the series “Sword-2.”

There are several interesting facts that are associated with the series. The directors and actors of the Sword have repeatedly starred in many episodes, they played the commander of the Alpha squad and other heroes. At the very beginning of filming, only half the script was ready, and everything else was already thought out in the work process. Also, before each series, an inscription appears in Latin, the idea of which belongs to Ilya Kulikov. Actors of the “Sword” gained great experience and fame after such roles.
