Styles in Art

Primitivism. Beautiful paintings by Marc Chagall and Niko Pirosmani are written in this style. Forms of work are simplified to the work of a child or a primitive drawing. Pointillism. A bitmap that is created from small dots or squares. Henri Matisse, Paul Signac and Georges Cera worked in this force. By mixing colors, in this way, original and interesting paintings are obtained.
Luchism. The style invented by Larionov and Goncharova. It is an abstract art based on light transmission.
Kitsch. Translated from the German language means "bad taste." Rather, it is pseudo-art, which is characterized by extravagance and loudness of forms. Must have an original plot and quality performance.
Graphic arts. The objects in the picture depict strokes and lines. Usually this is a plain pattern and you need to draw a picture with a pencil. In such work, various colors are sometimes used, but, as a rule, they carry an auxiliary role.
Materials and Tools
Before you start drawing, you need to prepare tools and paper. Best for beginners, A3 paper is suitable. A sheet of paper needs to be fixed on the tablet or any hard surface. Red, yellow, and blue are primary or primary colors. On their basis, you can get any color. When mixing red and yellow, orange will come out, if you mix red with blue - purple. Stages of watercolor work
- Make a sketch of the picture with a simple pencil. Mark the horizon line that should be below the middle of the sheet. Outline thin lines with palm trees, a coastline, the sun and a sunny path on the water.
- Moisten a piece of paper stretched on a tablet with water. The setting sun and its reflection in the water are the lightest and brightest parts of the picture. They practically do not need to be filled with watercolor. Very often stereotypes appear in the perception of a person that interfere with the correct expression of reality in the picture. The sun disk should not be yellow or red. In the picture, he remains white, and his rays and the space nearby must be painted in yellow.
- When working on a picture, you should know that water always reflects the sky. If the image of the sky contains pink, red, yellow and any other shades, they must be painted on the surface of the water.
- Palm trees and the coastline in the picture need to be painted in dark color, since they are located opposite the setting sun.
- To fill the drawing with watercolors follows from the lightest parts of the picture to the darkest. As was determined, the brightest part of the figure is the sun with reflection, and the darkest part is palm trees and the shore. Accordingly, you need to choose the colors and get to work.
- Watercolor paints need a lot of water. Only under this condition it is possible to obtain the necessary transparency and realism of the image. In the process of drawing it is necessary to dry the layers of paint, and then make additions of colors. Otherwise, the elements of the picture will flow to each other.
If the beginning artist did not manage to draw a beautiful picture the first time, then you should not be upset and give up.
