There are signs of asthma - what to do?

Asthma is the oldest disease, very common in the modern world. Signs of asthma were described by doctors in ancient Greece. Although then wheezing with difficulty breathing was explained by the anger of the gods. Only at the beginning of the century before last there were suggestions that asthma is a hereditary disease, and coughing occurs as a result of "clogging" of the respiratory tract and lungs.

Causes and Signs of Asthma

Most often, this disease affects early childhood, so he most likely has a hereditary predisposition. If someone has pulmonary diseases in the family, then the baby is more likely to have asthma. There have been attempts to treat this ailment by using genetic medicine. But, unfortunately, they did not succeed. As it turned out, several genes influence the development of asthma. However, even if you have inherited a genetic predisposition, you can stay healthy all your life. We need a boost to development. Asthma can be caused by allergens (medications, dust, food, pollen), or it can be non-allergenic. In the first option, the allergen, getting into the body, irritates the mucous membrane, inflamed, the bronchi narrow. This is what caused heavy breathing. Whistling during breathing is due to the accumulation of mucus in the narrowed bronchi. With non-allergic asthma, the bronchi are constantly inflamed. The disease does not appear until a person provokes an asthma attack. Such a factor can be transferred ARVI, stress, hypothermia, etc. These factors ultimately cause cramping.

What are the signs of asthma? How to understand that this is not another disease?

There are several forms: mild, moderate, acute. Signs of mild asthma: a person tightens his lips during an attack, trying to exhale from his lungs, air blocked as a result of a spasm. In the chest through a stethoscope, characteristic noises are well heard. This can be either a crackle or a whistle (air tries to pass through the blocked bronchi). The frequency of breaths is more than 15 per minute. In moderate to severe forms of asthma, the symptoms are similar, but suffocation occurs here.

Additional signs of asthma: dizziness, blue nasolabial triangle, loss of consciousness. Self-medication in this case is limited.

How to treat asthma?

A child suffering from this disease may experience "spontaneous desensitization." So doctors call the disease, coming to naught for some reason. This occurs during the formation of the immune system. The body independently builds an immune antiallergenic defense. As a result, the child ceases to suffer from allergies, or reacts weakly to its source. But for this you need to work hard. Change the place of residence, exclude contact with the allergen, create a calm psychological atmosphere. If the circumstances are favorable, asthma in the child will go away forever. But we must not forget that the allergic child already has the genes responsible for the production of antibodies. Therefore, a breakdown of the immune system (for example, a serious infectious disease, severe stress) will give an impetus to the return of the disease.

Asthma, which developed in adulthood, can no longer pass independently. Even in the absence of attacks of pronounced, observation by an allergist is mandatory. At least once a year.

Recommendations

- If you have signs of asthma, do not delay visiting a doctor. Do not use drugs recommended by friends;

- in case of a sudden attack, you can take "Aconite", "Arsenicum album", "Carbo vegetalis", "Natrum sulphuricum" (these are homeopathic remedies that are possible for use in emergency cases, but the possibility of use in the future must be agreed with the doctor);

- Chamomile and lavender oils should be at your fingertips (used in mixed form for inhalation, you can drip on the collar);

- a child with asthma should also receive vitamins C, B, Mg, Zn (dosage according to the prescription of a naturopathic doctor);

- in the event that the attack is caused by stress, consult a psychologist.

Can asthma be cured? Unfortunately, there are no drugs to cure her. But to learn how to prevent these attacks and reduce the strength of their manifestations is quite possible.
