The second most common disease in women, leading to pain during urination, is candidiasis. In men, this disease, in most cases, is asymptomatic, without causing them serious discomfort. In women, it is manifested by itching in the genital area, white "curd" discharge, rarely - swelling of the labia and pain during urination.
Among male diseases of the genitourinary system, prostatitis comes first - an inflammatory process that affects the tissues of the prostate gland and causes their subsequent edema. The most common cause of prostatitis is considered previously transferred sexually transmitted diseases.
