However, seven months after the casting, a phone rang that forever changed the life of Lauren. She was told that the film's director Tim Burton wants to meet her in person to make a final decision. The rendezvous was successful, and the young actress was approved for the role of Olive Abroholos Elefanta.
"Miss Peregrine's House of Strange Children"
Another mystical tale of Tim Burton was shot based on the novel by American writer Ransmom Rigz. According to the plot, the boy Jacob Portman suffers from nightmares in which children with extraordinary superpowers fight with terrible monsters born of the terrible abysses of the underworld. Once in the House for Strange Children, run by the director Miss Peregrine, he is confronted with the heroes of his dreams.
Lauren McCrosty played here the role of Olivia Abroholos Elephant - a girl with pyrotechnic abilities. Lord of the flame, she was a stranger in the ordinary world, but became her own among pariahs like her.

Lauren McCrosty is an active social activist. She advocates for the environment, defiantly wears clothing made from recycled materials, bought in second-hand stores and at charity fairs. At the moment, he continues to live with his mother and younger sister in his native London.
