In 2005, the fifth season of the well-known multi-part project “Soldiers” was released on Russian television. The plot of the series
The plot of the television series "Soldiers" tells about the everyday life of military personnel in the unit, as well as about their families and relationships. In season 5, you can see heroes that are already known to viewers such as Major Zubov, senior ensign Shmatko, Kuzma Sokolov.
New characters also appear. Among them, we can distinguish recruits from the second company: Tslav, Kot, Kichibekov. With the advent of these characters in the series, one can observe more comic situations and interesting stories.

- The role of Nikolai Zubov is performed by actor Alexei Oshurkov. This character is an honest person who is faithful to his principles.
- The role of the cheerful Chemist went to Alexei Maklakov. At first glance, Oleg Shmatko seems a petty person who cares only about himself, however, he has a kind soul, and he is always ready to help.
- The role of the good-natured guy Kuzma Sokolov is performed by Ivan Mokhovikov. After the end of the service, Sokolov decided to remain in the military unit.

- Ruslan Sasin played the role of the character of Vadim Tslav. His hero is immediately remembered thanks to his mother, who takes care of her son too much.
- The role of private Timofei Kot went to Artem Grigoryev. Before the army, Kot worked as a DJ. In the service he has a hard time, however, gradually the hero copes with his problems.
- In the image of Aslakhan Kichibekov, actor Nazar As-Samarray appeared. Kichibekov immediately found his place in the army, he became a cook.
