Mushrooms are a healthy and tasty product that successfully replaces meat with vegetarians. Mushrooms contain a sufficient amount of protein and nutrients. The most common mushrooms used in cooking are, of course, champignons.
Mushrooms stuffed with minced meat - this is a dish that can be served as an independent or as an appetizer, as well as with any side dish. This is a very interesting and nutritious product that is gaining more and more authority among housewives.
Stuffed mushrooms with minced meat cook for quite a while. Frying takes a small amount of time, but the preparation of the dish itself requires some skill and patience.
We start by cleaning the mushrooms. For cooking, choose medium-sized mushrooms. Large ones require a large amount of stuffing for the filling, and besides, they are very inconvenient to serve in portions.
We clean the cap of the mushroom from the skin, removing a thin film and cut the leg under the very base to make room for the filling. Then we wash the mushrooms under running water to remove all the dirt and give them an attractive look.
We prepare the filling from minced meat and the remaining mushroom legs. To do this, we use either purchased minced meat (half a kilo), to which we add an egg, as well as salt and pepper to taste, or we independently twist the meat in a meat grinder, preferably, of course, pork, because it is more tender and fat. Finely chop the mushroom legs and mix with minced meat. By the way, you can use any mincemeat: pork, beef, chicken or mixed - which one you like.
We take the clean cooked mushrooms and a small spoon we start them from the inside with the prepared meat mixture so that a fairly even ball is obtained. Roll such mushrooms stuffed with minced meat in flour, then in beaten eggs and, finally, in breadcrumbs. We heat a deep frying pan with a thick layer of vegetable oil and fry the mushrooms, gradually turning them from one side to another, as if rolling gradually. By the way, in beaten eggs it is better to immediately add salt and pepper, so the spices are distributed more or less evenly.
Mushrooms stuffed with minced meat should take a golden brown color, and the frying itself should last ten to twelve minutes. You can serve a golden dish with a golden brown and crisp crust with fried potatoes, green peas and a salad of fresh vegetables. Additives are various sauces, such as garlic or curry. Mushrooms and minced meat are classified as difficult to digest foods, so donβt serve mushrooms for dinner. Thanks to its unusual shape and pleasant color, mushrooms with minced meat will pleasantly surprise guests gathered at the festive table.
Mushrooms stuffed with minced meat can be taken on the road as a snack or on a picnic. They will acquire an unusual taste when heated on the grill and satisfy the hunger of even the most gluttonous person.
With the advent of microwave ovens, many dishes began to be prepared using such devices. The cooking method is different in that all products are cooked after such cooking. Stuffed champignon mushrooms in the microwave can also be cooked, but they will already have a completely different taste than during normal frying, and the crust will not crunch like that. For this, mushrooms should be prepared in the manner described above, but, placing them in a special container for use in microwave ovens, put in the oven for twenty-twenty five minutes.
Do not forget to sprinkle with greens this unusual dish before serving. This will pleasantly enliven the general appearance of food, and the smell of parsley or dill will warm up the appetite of the family members gathered around the table.
