Maxim Matveev, whose filmography contains a large number of films and series, was born on July 28, 1982 in the Kaliningrad region. The boy's parents were the most ordinary people: mom was a philologist, and dad served in the navy. With art, they did not intersect.

After passing all the necessary exams, the future actor Maxim Matveev was immediately enrolled in the second year. He studied superbly, having developed acting skills in a short period of time.

Welcome to the Moscow Art Theater

After graduating from the conservatory (graduation performances “Don Juan” and “God’s Clown”), Maxim Matveev, whose filmography began to fill up with new works in the near future, decided that this education would not be enough for serious work in the cinema. Therefore, he moves to Moscow and gives documents to the Moscow Art Theater. In parallel with his studies, Matveyev began to serve in the theater. His first performances were The Last Victim and Piedmontese Beast. The film debut of the young actor took place in 2007. Two films were released at once: "Vise" and "Thank you for love." A year later, Matveyev reappeared on the screens in yet another Todorovsky film “Hipsters” and the wonderful New Year’s film “Tariff“ New Year’s ”. Mosgaz, in which Maxim Matveev played the main role, was Vladimir Ionesyan, the first serial the killer of the Soviet Union, which was officially recognized.

Maxim Matveev, whose personal life, especially after the second marriage, was under special “control” of the public, met his future wife, the Latvian “Tabakerki” actress, during the preparation for the play “Forty-one”.
