Pork liver dishes

The liver contains many useful substances, for example, easily digestible iron and copper. And also - calcium, zinc, sodium, magnesium, phosphorus and vitamins A, B, C. The liver is very useful for children, women in position, as well as those who suffer from diabetes. And if it is cooked correctly, it turns out very tasty. Dishes from pork liver are very diverse. If you include at least a small amount in your daily diet, your body will receive an excellent supply of nutrients.

Before you start cooking something from pork liver, you should learn how to properly process it. Be sure to clean it of ducts and films, and to make it softer, you can soak it in milk. In no case should the liver be overcooked, this will make it almost inedible. It will be possible to save the situation only by putting it out for at least an hour with sour cream.

Pork liver dishes : fry with oranges

Many people think that fried liver is too stiff. In fact, if it turned out to be tough, it means that you prepared it incorrectly. An example is a liver fried with oranges. To cook it, peel a pound of liver, wash and cut into pieces no thicker than 1 cm. Grease each piece with mustard and roll in flour, and then fry in oil for 8 minutes. Add salt, put a little ground ginger and black pepper and fry for another 3 minutes. Then transfer it to the dish, and to the same oil add 2 tablespoons of butter, half a glass of water, boil, and then strain. After that, in the oil mixture you need to add the juice of 1 orange, half a glass of dry red wine and slightly warm. Pour slices of the liver with this mixture, and garnish with slices of orange on top.

Pork liver dishes: paste

Surely many tried the paste purchased at the store. Believe me, cooked by yourself, it will be much tastier! So, cut a pound of pork liver into small pieces. 80 g of pork fat too finely chop and fry until fat is melted. Then put one shabby carrot and one finely chopped onion in a frying pan and fry them until half cooked. Then add there the liver, ground pepper, salt, a little grated nutmeg. Fry, covered with a lid, until golden brown. When it cools, scroll through the meat grinder several times. Add half a glass of meat broth (can be replaced with milk), boil, then cool and add 100 g of butter. Beat with a mixer until the consistency of the paste. Then the dish needs to be shaped accordingly (i.e. roll or balls).

Japanese recipe for pork liver

We make a glass of rice, washed with cold water, mixed with 40 g canned peas, a spoon with ground paprika and kept in a water bath for about 10 minutes. Disassemble 50 g of tangerines into slices and lightly fry in butter. Then 200 g of the liver must be cut into thin slices, dip each in vegetable oil and roll in rice flour (you can also in wheat). Then they need to be fried on both sides, sprinkled with red pepper and salt.

Pieces of the liver in one layer are laid out on a plate, on each top we put a piece of mandarin, sprinkle with soy sauce. Serve with rice on the table.

Pork liver fritters

Cooking minced meat. A pound of liver should be cut, with one onion, scroll through a meat grinder. Then add 2 eggs, a spoonful of sour cream, 2 tablespoons of flour to this stuffing, salt and sprinkle with black pepper. Beat thoroughly with a mixer. In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the pancakes laid out with a spoon on 2 sides. Serve with vegetables or sour cream.

Pork liver dishes: salad

We peel and cut in half rings 2 large onions, lightly fry in oil. Then we add there a pound of liver, cut into small pieces, and fry until cooked (about 7 minutes). Then we put in a salad bowl a glass of Korean carrots, 2 diced pickled cucumbers, then we put out the cooled liver and season everything with mayonnaise. Salad ready!
