Pokemon is a pocket monster that millions of people on planet Earth seek to catch. He gained a second wind after Nintendo released the game Pomekon Go in July 2016 ( Pokemon GO), whose main task is to capture Pokemon around the world. And although there are more than 17 pieces of pocket friends, the most common among them are water-type Pokémon. In total, their share is 17% among all the friends of the coach.
Pokemon of the water element: what is it?
In the first season of the cartoon "Pokemon", which worried almost all schoolchildren in the early 2000s, the main character of Ashe is brought to life by a team of squirt robbers who commit robberies and hooliganism on the ground.
Later, this water Pokémon becomes one of Ash's Pokémon, and the story begins about the monsters using this element, which are in the collection of every self-respecting trainer. Most of them have several stages of development, allowing you to "pump" a friend and increase his strength.
Water pokemon is the most common. You can count a total of 110 pocket animals that use the water element in their attacking actions. Many of them are representatives of the so-called related species - when Pokemon can simultaneously fight using water and other abilities. The only thing that is not found neither in the cartoon nor in Pokemon Go is a mixed type of fire-water.
Where to look for water pokemon?
Name itself "water pokemon" says that this character will be partial to ponds and accumulations of fluid in the area. If there is a lake, a pond, a stream on the map, then first of all the water pokemon trainer should pay attention to this territory. Like other representatives, water pokemon has the peculiarity of appearing and disappearing from the map at any time: in the morning you can meet Old or Starmi, and in the evening only lazy Madzhikarp will appear.
The most common in the "natural environment" are Squirtle, Psaydak, Crabby, Goldin, Old and Magikarp. A squirt can be caught immediately after registration - it is one of the three monsters that the program offers to get the first.
How to catch aquatic pokemon?
In the same way as others: as soon as the smartphone signaled that an imaginary friend is nearby, it is worth stocking up with pokeballs so as not to miss the completion of the collection of new fighters. Water Pokémon do not differ in harmful nature: if the SR does not go through the roof, then in the wild you can catch one of them, spending only one pokeball.
After level 20, when Pokémon with a high CP (which characterizes the general power of a monster, its leveling and ability to battle with another Pokémon) will meet more often, special attention should be paid to rare water Pokémon.
Features of water type Pokemon: characteristics, combat nuances
Pokémon, who love water, have good characteristics regarding their ability to fight and are ready to give battle to almost any kind in the game Pokemon GO.
In particular, they give maximum efficiency in attack against fiery Pokémon, stone species and earth monsters. But the electric discharge of Pikachu and other Pokemon of its type cannot be controlled by water, since their susceptibility to lightning and similar attacks is extremely destructive, and they are not able to withstand them. The same goes for grass monsters and dragons.
Of course, highly developed Pokemon dogs with a high CP level are able to fight even with electric monsters, but their attacks will have 4 times less effect compared to representatives of fire, earth and stone. In this case, in a battle it is best to give preference not to 100% “pure” water Pokémon, but to representatives of a mixed type, for example, Lantern, combining both electricity and water attacks, or Starmi, which can damage the mental state of the enemy.
