In 2000, the film “Silver Lily of the Valley”, shot by director Tigran Keosayan, was released on domestic screens. This comedy is about how a provincial girl
named Zoya Misochkina conquered the capital in the hope of becoming a star. It all started with the fact that two famous producers - Lev Bolotov and Stas Pridorozhny - left their protégé - the popular singer Irma. This unpleasant event took place in the godforsaken town of Lokotka. The reason why Irma chose this place to fly with her lover in a helicopter is not clear, but her producers, who followed her into this wilderness, could not stop her. The singer flew away, and Leva and Stas decided to spend the night in a station hotel in order to drive back to Moscow in the morning. However, Leva gets drunk and pogroms at the hotel, for which he and Stas are taken to the police station. It was there that they met Zoe. She is the daughter of a district police officer, but at the same time she was sitting in handcuffs. Zoya explained this by saying that her own father was taking her off the train for the fifth time when she was trying to escape to Moscow. Drunk Leva drew attention to the smell emanating from the girl. It turned out that they were perfumes “Lily of the valley silver,” and Leva hated this fragrance.
Further, the plot develops as follows: while the district police officer was allegedly distracted, Zoya helps the producers exit the bullpen. But she does not leave them, but is tied to them. So the three of them come to Moscow. Leva and Stas make an attempt to get rid of the annoying girl, but she still finds them and declares that she wants to be a singer. The producers laugh at her. But suddenly Zoe sang. Leva and Stas realized that they were in a hurry with conclusions, and decided to “untwist” the girl. But before, Leva took the perfume “Lily of the Valley silver” from her and threw it out the window. Zoya began a new life: she came up with a new image, put in order a hitherto unprepossessing appearance, wrote several songs. For the district police officer it was not worth finding his daughter, and he came for her. But Stasik and Leva convinced him that his daughter was really talented. Dad calmed down and even got into the producers. He was so upset that they told him that he eventually became a singer himself.
And Zoya, not noticing it herself, falls in love with Leva, the very one who so hated the smell of perfume “Lily of the valley is silver”. Leva, it seems, is also not indifferent to the girl, but he is afraid of his feelings and drives them. In addition, he is much older than Zoe, so he tries not to think about her and begins an affair with another woman. Zoe is offended. Stas “set the brains” for his friend, and he finally explained to the girl. He told her about why he does not like the perfume “Lily of the Valley silver”, and that the runaway Irma was once his wife and that she has a son from Stas, who now lives in London. But once Ludwig - the son of Irma and Stas - returns. He always returns, no matter what country he is sent to study. He only dreams of having a family and devoting his life to cooking.
