The rhythm of life in our country today is such that you can’t spend a lot of time cooking. At the same time, we have become more discriminating in food, we try to eat proper and healthy food, choose only fresh natural products and, of course, eat the dish immediately after cooking, and not reheat the food “the day before yesterday”. Therefore, the recipes of our grandmothers and even mothers are little suitable for modern housewives, you need something faster and less harmful. It’s easy to think of options for breakfast - you can cook porridge, pour cereal with milk or build a healthy sandwich quite quickly. Lunch with us, as a rule, takes place outside the home - at work or during a business meeting. But what about the evening meal? We offer several interesting options on how to cook a light whip up dinner. See that it is very simple.
The first recipe is vegetable, but quite satisfying. Anyone can cook this dinner quickly and easily. The main thing is to have the following products in the refrigerator in advance:
- mushrooms (for example, champignons);
- a jar of green peas;
- onion and garlic.
Vegetable oil and seasonings are probably in every home. We heat the oil in a pan and throw chopped onion and chopped garlic in it, lightly fry and add any spices (coriander, zira, chili pepper, paprika, etc.), salt. Cut the mushrooms into slices (not very finely), send them to the pan, mix and cook for about 7 minutes. Next, put the peas, simmer for another 3 minutes, sprinkle with herbs and serve with rye bread toast.
For a more satisfying option, you can drive an egg into the mixture. Very tasty, and even a light whip up dinner is ready.
For lovers of cereals, you can advise fried rice with mushrooms. First you need to boil it (everyone knows how to do this). In a saucepan, fry the mushrooms in olive oil, add boiled rice and green onions, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Then add a little soy sauce (in this case, salt is not necessary to salt), simmer for another minute and remove from heat. Also quite light and satisfying dish.
What to cook light for dinner with seafood? For lovers of protein foods, a real lifesaver will be a frozen sea cocktail (these are now sold in any supermarket).
To begin, put the right amount of seafood in a dry pan and fry (so that the water evaporates), add a little soy sauce and cream, simmer for five minutes. Next, you have various options to choose from (you can alternate them):
- Transfer the stewed seafood into a baking dish, pour the beaten egg with milk and put in the oven. When the egg sets, sprinkle with grated cheese and take it out after a minute. Serve on a salad mixture, garnished with cherry tomatoes.
- Boil the pasta (best suited for farfalle or fettuccine), and then add it to the marine mixture, simmer for 1-2 minutes under the lid. Serve with cheese.
- In a nearly ready sea cocktail, put broccoli (previously divided into inflorescences) and chopped champignons. Simmer for a while until the vegetables are soft. Serve with rye toasts.
So one quick whip up dinner turned into three whole different options. In addition, these dishes are very sophisticated and beautiful, they are suitable not only for daily, but also for a romantic dinner.
