Eduard Martsevich - a native of Tbilisi, he was born on December 29, 1936. He can be considered a successor to the acting dynasty, since his father taught at a theater studio in Baku, and his mother was engaged in promptering. He serves in the Moscow drama theater "Modern" under the direction of People's Artist S. A. Vragova. Son Philip graduated from the Higher Theater School. M. S. Shchepkina in 2001. Since 2005 he has been playing on the stage of the Maly Theater.

In the last years of his life, the actor’s health left much to be desired. He was sick for a long time. After another exacerbation, the actor was taken to the Botkin Hospital, but his health condition did not improve, on the contrary, Eduard Evgenievich became even worse. In early October, it was decided to hospitalize the actor at the Sklifosovsky Institute (Department of Acute Endotoxicosis). He died on October 12, 2013.
