The medication is effective for neurosis-like conditions and neuroses of an organic and endogenous nature with a predominance of hypochondria, senestopathic, psycho-vegetative and phobic disorders. Indications include psychoasthenia with psychoasthenic and asthenic disorders, anxiety depressive states due to vascular and borderline pathologies. The medicine "Teraligen" recommends the use of the drug for allergic reactions, sleep disorders of various nature. The drug is prescribed for conditions of anxiety and excitement on the basis of somatic diseases, with somatized pathologies of a mental nature, senestopathic depression.
Contraindications
The medicine “Teraligen” does not recommend the application for myasthenia gravis, angle-closure glaucoma, hypersensitivity, and renal and hepatic pathologies of severe course. Contraindications include Reye syndrome, pregnancy, parkinsonism, hypotension. No treatment is prescribed for jaundice, lactation, under the age of seven years. Not recommended at the same time as MAO inhibitors. Caution in the appointment is observed with a predisposition to urinary retention, epilepsy, chronic alcoholism, obstruction in the cervix, open-angle glaucoma.

The medicine is taken orally. The total dosage per day is divided into three or four applications. Adults are prescribed 5-10 mg / day (as sleeping pills), 60-80 mg / day (to obtain the anxiolytic effect). Against the background of psychotic conditions, 0.2-0.4 g / day is recommended. From the age of seven, children are prescribed 2.5-5 mg / day (as sleeping pills), 5-20 mg / day (in the treatment of allergy symptoms), 20-40 mg / day (for anxiolytic effects). Practice shows good drug tolerance. Emerging negative reactions are usually rare and slightly pronounced. Due to the treatment , fatigue, lethargy, drowsiness can occur . These phenomena are characteristic of the initial stage of therapy and rarely require drug withdrawal. Theraligen (the instructions for use indicate this) can cause paradoxical reactions: irritability, nightmares at night, agitation or anxiety. During therapy, tachycardia, lowering of pressure, dizziness, gastrointestinal atony, blurred vision, appetite, dryness in the throat and nose are observed. In some cases, muscle relaxation, allergies, and bronchial secretion viscosity increase.
