Tasty salad - "Mushroom Glade"

In Russia, it is customary to cook a wide variety of salads and various snacks for the gala table. As a rule, we give preference to traditional, beloved and long-familiar dishes. Although you can try to cook something new and add variety to the holiday menu. A wonderful new dish for you could be the Mushroom Glade salad. It is so named because it is a green forest lawn. This delicious dish is prepared quite quickly and requires little effort, but it can be a wonderful decoration for any table. Any housewife has her own secrets of cooking, so sometimes two identical snacks can be completely different. We will tell you about how to prepare the salad "Mushroom meadow with honey mushrooms." The recipe for this dish is very simple, the components are always in the refrigerator, and if something is missing, then almost all the ingredients can be replaced with others. Ingredients for cooking:

  • pickled mushrooms (as you already understood, these should be honey mushrooms, ideally they are picked and pickled by you personally) - 500 grams;
  • eggs - 4 pcs.;
  • carrots - 400 g, which is equivalent to two pieces (if they are medium);
  • cheese of any hard varieties - 200 g;
  • mayonnaise;
  • chicken (fillet) - 2 breasts;
  • greens;
  • potatoes - 300 g (3-4 pieces);
  • garlic.

Making Mushroom Glade Salad

Boil all the ingredients, except cheese, herbs and garlic. Doing this in one pan is not worth it. We are waiting for complete cooling, three on a coarse grater. Finely chop the greens and meat. Grind the garlic (pass through the garlic press) and mix with mayonnaise. Cheese can be grated on a fine grater.

The salad is laid out in layers, so we take any deep dishes, not necessarily ceremonial, because then we will transfer to another plate. Cover with cling film or grease with sunflower oil. And then we lay out the layers:

Layer 1. Mushrooms, spread carefully, because subsequently this will be the top of our dish. You can make any inscription with fungi (for fun).

Layer 2. We sprinkle with greens denser, because this will be our green lawn. Lubricate with mayonnaise. In general, each subsequent layer alternates with mayonnaise.

Layer 3. Carrots. We spread it not thinly, but also not thickly.

Layer 4. Grated eggs sprinkle a little salad.

Layer 5. Since our “Mushroom Glade” is a salad with chicken, we spread it on this layer. Fillets can be further divided into fibers, but this is optional. The thickness of the layer depends only on how much you love it.
