The Soviet film "Citizen Nikanorova Awaits You", the actors and the roles of which are presented in this article, was released in the late seventies. The plot of this film is based on the straightforward story of a woman who dreams of a "prince."
The story of the film
The script was written by Victor Merezhko. He was not able to immediately organize the shooting of the film according to his work. Oddly enough, in the eyes of officials, the story of a simple woman who has been in the long search for the "one" was immoral. The director of film was able to “break through” the cinema director Leonid Maryagin, who seemed extremely interested in the motive of female loneliness.

The director of the film "Citizen Nikanorova is Expecting You" did not select the actors for long. True, he initially proposed the main role to Svetlana Kryuchkova. But she did not show up for the test. Maryagin took on the role of Nikanorova Gundareva.
The comedian as a prince
Borislav Brondukov played the main character in the melodrama "Citizen Nikanorova Awaits You". The actor by that time was assigned the role of a comedian. Seeing him as a lyrical hero was unusual. However, Maryagin took a chance. And I was not mistaken. The duet of Gundareva and Brondkova on the screen looked very colorful.
Filming
The director planned to make a film near Stary Oskol, where he spent his childhood and youth. However, having arrived in his small homeland, he did not recognize the places he had kept for so long in his heart. Nothing remains of the Russian provincial idyll. The city expanded and swallowed the village. It was decided to shoot in the Rostov region, near Taganrog.
"Citizen Nikanorova awaits you": actors
The real heyday of Gundareva’s career both in the theater and in the cinema, fell on the beginning of the eighties. That is, after the release of the picture "Citizen Nikanorova is waiting for you." Her acting career from the very beginning went well. However, at the beginning of her career, Gundareva played mainly simple rural women, while she was able to create more complex images (Sweet Woman, Autumn Marathon, Duck Hunt). And in 1990, the actress played a role that has nothing at all to do with either Nikanorova or the other movie characters she created earlier - a role in the social drama Dog Feast.
Boris Brondukov performed his first role in the film Parajanov's "Flower on a Stone." There are more than a hundred works in his filmography. And most of them are episodic. Brondukov was one of those artists who knew how to make even a small role memorable. He often appeared on the screen in the image of crooks and alcoholics. But at the same time, his characters evoked sympathy among the audience.
Who else played in the film "Citizen Nikanorova Awaits You"? Actor Ivan Ryzhov played the role of chairman of the collective farm. Natalia Gushchina is the girlfriend of the main character. The film was also played by Evgeny Kindinov, who in recent years has often appeared in television films. Mikhail Vaskov played the driver of the collective farm chairman. Lev Borisov is an active resident of the village. This actor played one of the last roles in the TV series "Shtrafbat".
