Plot

But the apartments are a surprise. Madame Claudette, a lady of Balzac age with her daughter, lives in the apartment. The landlady is keeping a secret. Claire, her daughter, and Claude fall in love. And then Madame Claudette reveals her secret - she was the mistress of the father of the protagonist. And Claire is his daughter, that is, Claude's sister. The ending of this story is tragic.
