Delicious meat pie: a recipe for puff and yeast dough

The meat pie, the recipe of which we will consider later, turns out to be tasty and satisfying from any basis. Today we decided to bring to your attention two different options for the preparation of flour products, using independently made yeast dough and purchased puff cake for this purpose.

1. Baked pies with meat: a recipe for cooking with a yeast base

Essential ingredients for the dough and toppings:

  • fat milk - 550 ml;
  • cream margarine - 150 g;
  • large chicken egg - 1 pc.;
  • granulated sugar - a large spoon;
  • salt - half a dessert spoon;
  • white flour - add to the density;
  • beef - 500 g of pulp;
  • large onions - 2 pcs.;
  • spices for minced meat - add to taste;
  • round grain rice - 1/3 cup.

A meat pie, the recipe of which is based on a yeast dough, has been preparing for a rather long time. But all your labors will certainly come true, as a result you will get very tasty and magnificent flour products.

In order to knead the yeast dough, it is necessary to heat the milk, add sugar, yeast, salt to it and wait for their dissolution. Next, add the melted margarine, chicken egg and white flour to the milk mass. After kneading a thick base, it must be placed in a warm place for 1.3 hours.

Cooking toppings

The meat pie, the recipe of which is based on beef filling, should be formed only after aromatic minced meat is made. To do this, grind the beef in a meat grinder with onions, and then add spices to them and lightly fry them in a pan. Next, to the minced meat, pour in boiled round-grain rice and mix everything thoroughly.

Shaping and baking dishes

After both the filling and the base are ready, you should start sculpting the pies. To do this, roll up a thick circle of dough (with a diameter of up to 7 centimeters), and then place minced meat in its center and pinch the edges. All prepared semi-finished products must be laid out on a greased sheet and baked in the oven for 40-50 minutes.

2. Delicious puff pastry with meat: a recipe in the oven

  • stuffing from minced meat - 700 g (the principle of preparation is described in the previous recipe);
  • yeast-free puff pastry - 600 g.

The process of forming and baking

The meat pie, the recipe of which involves the use of a puff base, is made much faster than the previous version. Indeed, for the preparation of such a product there is no need to knead the dough for a long time, and then wait until it rises. Thus, for the presented dish, you should take a layer of the finished puff semi-finished product, roll it lengthwise, cut into squares, and then place the stuffing from the minced meat in the middle and nicely pinch the edges. Such a puff dish is baked in exactly the same way as in the previous recipe. However, cooking time in the oven should be reduced by 10-16 minutes.

How to serve to the table

Patties with meat from yeast or puff pastry must be served with hot and sweet tea.
