- flour - 5 - 7 tablespoons (take ordinary wheat flour);

- soda - a little less than half a teaspoon

Beat eggs. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, soda and salt thoroughly and beat very well. Now we will connect everything and beat it again. Then add the flour, mix well. And the dough is ready.

Comments and nuances

Everything is very simple, but you need to consider these nuances. First of all - sift the flour, although they say that now this is not necessary, since the flour is clean. We sift flour for other purposes - to make the dough airy! Beat eggs with a whisk, you can take a fork. Itโ€™s possible, of course, with a mixer, and everything like that, but the effect will not be the same, I checked it personally, I donโ€™t know what the secret is. Add beaten eggs to other ingredients only when they are beaten until smooth. Another secret: it is better to mix the dough with a wooden spatula or spoon. And personally, my refinement of my grandmotherโ€™s recipe. I add a couple of spoons of mineral water to it. After standing for about ten minutes, the dough becomes very magnificent.

Recipe: Cake batter (sweet)

We do the same thing, only the salt is added not 0.5 teaspoon, but a little less. Sugar, add 1.5 tablespoons, instead of sour cream, you can use kefir, the same amount (i.e. 250 grams) - half a half-liter package. And remove the mayonnaise from the recipe. In this case, you can use almost any sweet filling to your taste.

Kefir (sour cream) and eggs should lie down for two hours in the room (so that they are not cold). If there is no time, you can hold the kefir bag under a stream of hot water (or draw water into a cup and put the bag there). The dough from this will be a little more tender. To the rest of the ingredients, along with sugar, you can add a couple of spoons of margarine or sunflower oil. Firstly, the dough will be softer, and secondly, you will quickly get rid of lumps. Thus, making batter for pies is very simple.

How and how much to bake?

Do not forget to lubricate the form in which you will bake your masterpiece. Preheat the oven to no more than 180-200 degrees. Do not open the oven for the first 10-15 minutes. The baking time depends on the filling of your cake.
