Chan Yong Ha decides to try secretly from everyone to live the life of an ordinary average person. She gets a job in a supermarket, where she honestly works for several years. The heroine finds a friend with whom she rents an apartment.
Once at work, a girl comes across Choi Joon Ki, the manager of one of the largest companies. He was born in a poor family and achieved everything himself. The main character has always dreamed of breaking to the very top, without reckoning with anything, using resources, people and everything that is needed. Choi Joon Ki always chose girls for himself because of their status.
Acquainted with the hero, Yoon Ha almost immediately falls in love with him, hoping for reciprocity. She does not even suspect that June Ki knows her secret and that is why she chose. The girl is waiting for disappointment and pain of betrayal. Can the hero’s feelings become sincere or does he continue to play his game? This is very convincingly shown to the viewer by the actors of the series "High Society".
The drama reveals not only the relationship of the main characters. The story of the minor characters of Chan Su and Yi Ji Yi is no less interesting. The rich heir to the corporation and the simple saleswoman at first cannot stand each other. But gradually their feelings change. The "chemistry" between the characters was remarkably shown by the actors. "High Society" is a drama of provisions showing the contemporary life of Korean society.
Interestingly, the male lead was played by artists with very little experience, at least Pak Hyun Sik - an idol. But this did not affect the quality of the game.
