Oven legs - the easiest recipe
Required: 6-8 legs of medium size, salt and mayonnaise. The meat is washed, half a can of mayonnaise is mixed with half a teaspoon of salt. Rub the chicken legs with this mixture on all sides, spread in a deep dish, cover with a lid. The oven is turned on, heated to 220-250 degrees and put meat in it for about an hour. To make the chicken "with a crust", about fifteen minutes before the end, the lid is removed.
Instead of mayonnaise, you can take low-fat sour cream, mustard, adjika, ketchup or any other favorite sauce.
Legs in the oven can be baked with potatoes - in this case not only a meat dish is prepared, but also a side dish for it.
For cooking you will need: pieces of 6 legs, 8-10 potatoes, a small onion and 100 g of hard cheese. The legs are washed and rubbed with salt, spread on a baking sheet. The potatoes are peeled and cut into longitudinal cubes, salted and placed on a baking sheet between the legs. Sprinkle with onion, chopped in half rings and grated cheese. Cooking legs takes about an hour at a temperature of 220 degrees. You do not need to grease a baking sheet - there will be enough fat from chicken meat.
Oven legs in herbs
For 6 legs take 6-8 pcs. potatoes, half a pack of mayonnaise, a couple of sprigs of fresh basil, dill and parsley (or a teaspoon of dried herbs), ground pepper, a couple of cloves of garlic and half a lemon. First, prepare the potatoes - peel and cut into circles, 0.5 cm thick, which are laid on a baking sheet. Then they take it for legs - they are washed, allowed to drain with water, rubbed with a mixture of salt and mayonnaise, pepper and spread on a baking sheet over the potatoes. Then they are poured with juice from half a lemon and sprinkled with chopped herbs or dried herbs. The baking sheet is put in the oven at a temperature of 200 degrees per hour. To prevent the meat from drying out during cooking, you can cover it with a sheet of foil on top.
Legs in the oven with mushrooms
Ingredients: chicken legs - 4 pcs., 2 large tomatoes, a pound of champignons or other fresh mushrooms, 2 onions, a small glass of sour cream and a couple of spoons of flour. The legs are divided into 2-3 parts, each rubbed with a mixture of ground pepper and salt, fried in a pan so that the meat is browned, adding a little vegetable oil. Mushrooms are cut into slices, and onions are chopped in half rings, and fry them separately in a frying pan for about five minutes. Sour cream is mixed with flour, tomatoes are diced. All the ingredients are transferred to a deep heat-resistant dish - put legs on the bottom, then mushrooms with onions, tomatoes and pour everything with sour cream sauce.
How to Cook Legs in Sweet Orange Sauce
For preparation you will need: 4-5 legs, a glass of water and orange juice, a bouillon cube or a tablespoon of dried seasonings for chicken, half a glass of sour cream, a bunch of tarragon, starch and onion. Vegetable oil is poured into the frying pan and the washed legs are fried in it until a golden crust appears on them. Onion is fried in the same oil for about 4 minutes. The orange juice is heated separately in a saucepan , a cube or herbs, chopped tarragon greens, two tablespoons of starch and sour cream diluted in cold water are added. The meat is placed in a deep container, covered with a lid and poured 2/3 of the finished hot sauce, and then sent to bake in the oven, heated to 180 degrees. As boiling, the orange sauce is added. After an hour, the legs can be removed and served to the table, previously watering with the rest of the sauce.
