History
The Moscow Philharmonic was established in 1922. The idea of its discovery belonged to A. Lunacharsky. The very first art council of the Moscow Philharmonic was headed by Nikolai Myaskovsky. Young Soviet performers and bands, as well as world celebrities, performed here. On the basis of the Philharmonic, All-Union competitions among musicians were held. In wartime, the Moscow State Philharmonic did not stop its activities. Concerts for conscripts were held here. In the 60s of the 20th century, the Philharmonic organized an art festival called the Russian Winter. Orchestra
The Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra was created in 1951. Artistic Director - Yu. Simonov. The orchestra has toured in more than fifty countries of the world.
