You can harvest fruits, vegetables and berries for the winter in various ways: for example, in the form of jam, jams, juices. This article will tell you how to make pear jam. Wash pears, dry and cut ponytails, remove seeds. Then cut into small pieces. Take a deep bowl. Put slices of pear, add cloves and cover with gelling sugar. Leave for twelve hours so that the juice stands out. As soon as the time runs out, take a pan, shift the mass and add water, cinnamon, nutmeg. We cook everything on low heat for about one hour, until the sugar is completely dissolved. We put the pan in a cool place and stop the cooking process. We will continue the next day. We will cook another 20 minutes, then pour the confiture into sterilized and dry jars. Close the lids, turn upside down and leave to cool. Those who do not like cinnamon and its aftertaste can make jams without it.
Pear and apple confiture: recipe
The main ingredients :
- ripe pears (1 kg);
- water (1 cup);
- apples (1 kg);
- gelling sugar (1 kg).
Cooking technology
We wash the apples, cut into pieces. Cooking mashed potatoes. Put chopped apples in a saucepan, fill with sugar and put on the stove (be sure to low heat). Apples should give juice in 10 minutes. We interfere well, increase the power of the fire to a maximum and bring to a boil. We set it to minimum power again and cook for 20 minutes. Cool the mixture a little and wipe through a sieve or a special device. Next, wash and cut the pear core with seeds, ponytails and spoiled places. Cut with a knife into pieces, put in a high pan and add gelling sugar. Mix thoroughly. Cover and leave overnight, as in the previous recipe. The next day, mix the pears with applesauce and put on a small fire. Bring everything to a boil. Then we cook another 4 minutes, while constantly stirring. When the confiture is ready, set it aside to cool slightly. We sterilize the jars and pour the mass. Close the lid tightly. We put the bottom up.

- juicy pears (500 g);
- 1 lemon
- jelly sugar;
- water.
