Short story
Timur Bekmambetov, known for his films Night Watch, Especially Dangerous, and many other works, was the producer of the Yolki-2 project. But the directors of the film are several at once: Alexander Kott (Brest Fortress), Dmitry Kiselev (Black Lightning), Alexander Baranov (TV series Ekaterina) and Levan Gabriadze (Freaks).
In the movie "Christmas Trees-2", the actors of the Russian cinema played a wide variety of characters: pilots, pensioners, teenagers, lovers, traffic cops and many other Russian people who are united by only one proposed circumstance - New Year. The film takes place simultaneously throughout the country and is a fascinating New Year’s panorama of Russian life.

In the film "Christmas Trees-2" actors Urgant and Svetlakov, or rather, their characters, find themselves in a difficult situation. Boris, as a result of a trifle accident on New Year's Eve, loses his memory. The problem is that now he does not remember either his friend, whom he promised to lend money to, his girlfriend, who urgently needs to be discouraged from flying to France with another man, or that he must urgently see the conclusion of the state commission, which is very important for him business. At the cost of incredible efforts, Eugene performed by Svetlakov nevertheless manages to restore the memory of his friend, a businessman, and the story ends successfully.
Ivana Urgant has been successfully combining the profession of an actor and a TV presenter for many years. As an artist, he was involved in such films as First Ambulance, Three and a Snowflake, Vysotsky: thanks for being alive. As a showman, Ivan conducts on a regular basis the programs “Searchlight Paris Hilton” and “Evening Urgant”.

Sergey Svetlakov is a native of the city of Sverdlovsk. In fact, the showman has a higher education in the field of economics of railway communication, but his passion for KVN completely determined the fate of Svetlakov.
For a long time Sergey played for the Ural Dumplings team and was one of the most outstanding members of the team. Over time, Svetlakov made the necessary connections and acquaintances and moved to Moscow. Before he began acting in comedy films, Svetlakov for a long time was a participant in various shows on Russian television channels.
In the film "Christmas Tree-2" actors Urgant and Svetlakov make up a very entertaining on-screen duet: Sergey plays a rustic and open-air guy, an actor of the Yakut Theater, and Ivan plays an intricate and fastidious businessman. By chance, these two opposites became friends. Such a duet cannot but occupy the viewer, therefore Eugene and Boris inseparably appeared in the frame throughout the whole Christmas tree franchise.
Elena Plaksina as Olya
In the film “Christmas Tree-2”, the actors and roles are remembered by the viewer primarily because they resemble the realities of life.
So, the heroine of Elena Plaksina - Olga - finds herself in a common life situation: her young man Boris has been dating her for six years, but does not make an offer. Olga can no longer wait, so she breaks off relations with him and begins to look for herself a groom whom she does not love, but whom she can at least rely on. Such a fiancé turns out to be a certain Frenchman who is ready for New Year to take her to Paris, and soon to get married.
When Boris, performed by Ivan Urgant, realizes that he may lose his beloved girl forever, he decides to make her an offer, and the couple still stays together.
Elena Plaksina prefers to play more in her native theater Sovremennik than to act in films. And yet, on her account there are several notable roles: in the Christmas tree franchise, in the TV series Swallow’s Nest, as well as in the biographical film Galina, dedicated to the life of Galina Brezhneva.
Alexey Petrenko as Zemlyanikin
Actors of the film "Fir-trees-2" Alexei Petrenko and Irina Alferova played a very touching story among themselves . In the story, Petrenko plays the pilot Grigory Zemlyanikin, forty years ago he sent a postcard to his beloved by mail, in which he apologized for their quarrel and promised to wait for the girl every New Year on Red Square. But for some reason, the letter was lost and reached the heroine Alferova only after forty years. All this time Zemlyanikin came to Red Square from year to year, but he never met his beloved Julia Snigireva anywhere.
On the described New Year's day, Zemlyanikin is supposed to fly a passenger board to one of the most remote points in Russia. An emergency occurs on the road, and the hero is forced to land the plane off the beaten path. The viewer is anxiously awaiting the denouement of the short story: can Zemlyanikin fix the plane and get to Red Square in time, where for the first time in many years his lover is really waiting for him?
Alexey Petrenko is a prominent figure in Russian cinema. It can be seen in many famous films: this is “The Cruel Romance” by E. Ryazanov, “The Prisoner of If Castle” by G. Jungwald-Khilkevich, “The Musketeers Twenty Years Later” and others.
