Classic recipe
So, today you have a Hawaiian party at home, and you are preparing the right food in the kitchen. Decorate the table with a real salad, the recipe of which was brought from these islands.
Required Products:
- boiled chicken (preferably brisket) - 600 g;
- ham - 300 g;
- fresh or canned pineapple - 250 g;
- cashew or macadamia nut (can be replaced with walnut) - 100 g;
- celery - 2-3 pcs.;
- onion - half a bunch.
Hawaiian Chicken Salad Dressing:
- apple vinegar - 2 tbsp. l .;
- mayonnaise - 1 pack (150 g);
- pineapple juice and honey - 3 tbsp each. l .;
- some salt and pepper.
Cut boiled chicken, sausage and pineapple into equal cubes. Grind celery and green onion into small pieces. Chop or crack nuts with a rolling pin. All this to send to the salad bowl.
Prepare a dressing in a small cup. To do this, well beat with a fork mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, pineapple juice. Add pepper and salt to this. When a homogeneous mass is obtained, it is required to pour it with prepared foods, mix gently and send to the refrigerator for half an hour.
Serve chilled appetizer on the table.
Smoked Chicken and Pineapple Hawaiian Salad Recipe
Try to cook this appetizer on small serving plates. Such a festive look will decorate the table, and the unusual taste will interest other housewives, which will delight you very much.
For 3 servings should be prepared:
- smoked chicken meat - 150 g;
- pineapple (canned) - 150 g;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- hard cheese - 100 g;
- 1-2 cloves of garlic;
- mayonnaise.
For a beautiful serving of Hawaiian salad with chicken and pineapple, we immediately prepare 3 bowls of the same size, in which we will lay out the products in layers:
- Boil eggs, peel and chop with a fork. This is the first layer in our plate. Sprinkle 1/3 of the grated cheese and grease with mayonnaise.
- Next comes a layer of half chopped chicken, then as many cubes of pineapple. Lubricate well with mayonnaise and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
- We repeat the steps from the second paragraph, only now without sauce and cheese. Crumple a little, cover with a plate on which the salad will be served, and turn over.
- Top with a small amount of mayonnaise mixed with yolk. Make any pattern with a toothpick, put a sheet of parsley or garnish with slices of tangerines.
Instead of bowls, you can take special circles for the garnish that the cook uses. Original and simple!
Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi Salad
This is a very popular snack at islanders parties. It is served chilled along with meat cooked in an underground oven. The name in translation means "massage", as all the ingredients are mixed with your hands, as if doing a gentle massage.
We spread it on the table:
- salted salmon fillet - 0.5 kg;
- 2 large and meaty tomatoes;
- half a sweet onion;
- 1/3 of a bunch of chives.
If you decide to cook the fish yourself, then in 2 days you need to fill the fillet with an even layer of salt, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Rinse the prepared salmon a little under running water, pat it dry with a napkin and cut into small pieces. Sent in a deep cup.
The tomato should be removed seeds and crumble. Slice the batun with heads and sweet onions. Mix all the products. Basically, such a salad is not salted, as salmon should handle it. We ship to a cold place.

- 3 tangerines;
- walnuts - half a glass;
- small marshmallows - 100 g;
- sour cream to taste.
Put well peeled mandarin slices, cherries, pineapple slices in a plate. Add chopped nuts and mini marshmallows. Season with sour cream and mix gently so as not to damage the integrity of the fruit.
